Theme Song (Start at 0:26): link

S.B: *Sitting down in his room* In shows, there are many references to other TV shows, movies, and anything in pop culture. So let's get started with the references I put in Trainz.

The song fades away as we begin our list.

S.B: Some of the very first references you'll get, are for Tugs. The headquarters for the Northern Errol Line, is in Zorrin. This isn't just a reference to the one Z-Stack we all know. Zorrin is a combination of Zorran, and Zorin, the villain in the James Bond film, A View To A Kill. Keep your eyes open for mais references to that movie. The other towns are references to other things too. Eastwood is a reference to Clint Eastwood, Mossberg is a reference to the shotgun, the Mossberg 500, and Hunterdon, refers to a school I went to. seguinte up, the controllers, except for Kenny. They talk through megaphones, and you can't see what they look like, not even when they're driving cars, like in episode 67, when you see Mr. Baldwin climb out of one car, and go into another. You just see his megaphone mover into different cars. These megaphones are a reference to Captain Star, and Captain Zero, as well as a few other characters from Tugs. I know I'm not the first one to make the megaphone reference, but the first one, refering to both Zorran, and Zorin, I came up with, without seeing from anyone. Now we're going to mover onto scenes from the actual episodes, and I'll tell you what each scene refers to.

Episode 1: New Arrivals

Kenny: You know your line ain't as good as ours. We have mais modern equipment, and we don't have any steam engines. We're all men.
Shayne: Then I guess you like dating diesels.

---

S.B: The beginning of the show, when Shayne makes that comment towards Kenny, refers to homosexuality. All of the diesels are male, while the female engines, are steam locomotives. Though every female engine is a steam locomotive, not all of them are female. There are certain types of steam engines that are male. The three types of male steam engines are..

Steam engines without cylinders. Examples include, the Pennsylvania Railroad 6-8-6 Steam Turbine. Shay locomotives, and some other logging engines, such as the heisler. Thomas The Tank Engine, including his friends, James, Duck, Oliver, Ryan, Donald, Douglas, and Toby.
Articulated Steam Engines. Examples include the Union Pacific Big Boys, and Challengers. The Norfolk & Western 2-6-6-4. The 2-8-8-4 Yellowstone, and the 2-6-6-6 Allegheny.
And finally, Cab progressivo, para a frente Locomotives or any locomotives that have the cylinders on backwards, like Southern Pacific's articulated cab forwards.

Episode 5: We Are Family

Mr Bruce: Panzer, take a freight train into Mossberg.
Panzer: Sure thing. *Goes to get a freight train*
Robert: Why Panzer?
Mat: He had German relatives that fought in World War 2.

---

S.B: This reference is easy to understand. Although blindado, panzer is an American locomotive, (voiced por James Arnold Taylor) his grandparents were German. blindado, panzer is named after some of the tanks the Germans used during World War 2.

Episode 7: Change Is The Law Of Life

S.B: The título is the only reference in this episode. It refers to part of a speech John F. Kennedy gave.
JFK: Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past, or the present, are certain to miss the future.
S.B: And in this episode, Makenzie makes a nice change to herself, as this is the very episode where she puts on her red eyeliner.

Episode 8: Contract

link

S.B: With the link to the episode, you can see three tugboats. They're named Jim, Palmetto, and Bradenton. Although Palmetto, and Bradenton will not be appearing in anymore episodes, Jim will make his comeback soon. The design of these characters, also refer to Tugs, as the designs are the same as the Tugboats, in Tugs.

Episode 19: The Fonz

S.B: One character, Mike Fonzi was originally meant to be a combination of The Fonz from Happy Days, and Warrior from Tugs. After episode 19, I just decided to have Mike just be a train version of the Fonz from Happy Days. This episode is a reference to Warrior, as the plot is similar to that episode of Tugs.

Episode 27: Yardwork

S.B: This one is self explanatory

---

Narrator: When I drove back to the yards, Mr. Bruce was there in his car.
Mr. Bruce: Mr. Bodine, I wanna talk to you.
S.B: What is it?
Jeff & Bryce: *Arrive*
Mr. Bruce: To start the conversation, I must say you have a nice ride there. I remember wanting a 300 when I was your age.
S.B: Uh, thanks.
Mr. Bruce: But your actions so far won't be tolerated here.
S.B: I beg your pardon?
Mr. Bruce: I beg yours.
Audience: *Laughing*
Mr. Bruce: Several other men in the yards have told me that you're doing a very sloppy job. They also tell me that you're cocky, antagonistic, and you behave like a Storm Trooper.
Jeff: A-ha, a estrela Wars reference.
Audience: *Laughing*
Mr. Bruce: I did not ask you to eavesdrop. Go away!
Jeff: *Leaves with Bryce*

Episode 28: The Magic Words

S.B: This one was fun to write, especially the beginning where Casey Jones argues with Tillie. Since Tillie is part of this show, I decided to have her famous words featured in here as well.

---

Tillie: Remember what I told you.
Casey Jones: *Pulling her train* I think I can, I think I can, *Her wheels slip as she struggles to gain speed* I think I can't, I think I can't!
Audience: *Laughing*
Casey Jones: *Stops*
Tillie: *Sighs* So close.
S.B: *Walks over to Tillie* Hey. What's going on?
Tillie: I'm trying to help Casey Jones feel confident in herself.
Casey Jones: And you're doing terrible at it.
Audience: *Laughing*
S.B: Why? What's she doing?
Casey Jones: She believes that if I say I think I can, things will become easier for me.
Tillie: It works for me every time.
S.B: And some of my friends do it as well.
Narrator: Just then, Mily appeared with a passenger train. I never saw her here before, so I figured Mr. Baldwin bought her from the Eastwood & Mossberg Railway.
Worker: *Waving a red flag* There's not enough room for your train Mily. You'll have to wait.
Mily: *Stops* Okay.
S.B: Hi.
Mily: *Smiles* Hello. How's everyone doing?
Casey Jones: Okay. I'm just having trouble with this train.
Tillie: And I'm helping her feel confident in herself.
Casey Jones: And you're doing terrible at it.
Audience: *Laughing*
S.B: Here we go again.
Audience: *Laughing*
Mily: What's she doing?
Tillie: I tell her to say the words, I think I can.
Casey Jones: It doesn't work.
Tillie: Oh yes it does. Watch me. *Pulls her train forward, and passes a railroad crossing. She backs up onto Casey Jones' train*
Mily: You're going to hurt yourself.
Tillie: I think I can. *Pulls the train without any difficulty* I think I can, I think I can.

She continued saying that as she left with her train, along with Casey Jones, and her train.

S.B: She wasn't lying. It does work.

---

S.B: Those four words refer to the beloved 1991 film in mais episodes, which you'll see later on. Let's mover on.

Episode 35: The Importance Of Teamwork

S.B: There's no doubt, with the música and dialogue, this is a reference to Edward & Gordon, one of the very first stories in the original Railway Series, and season 1 of Thomas The Tank Engine. Hey, it's a spinoff of T&F Why not make a reference to it?

Song: link

Juliette: Let's just get this over with. *Pulls her train*
Mily: *Pushes the train*
Juliette: I know I can't, I know I can't, I know I can't.
Mily: I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. *Her wheels slip fiercely*
Juliette: Had enough?
Mily: Not until you get your train over the top.
Juliette: With you helpin', we'll probably get back to the bottom.
Audience: *Laughing*
Narrator: Despite Juliette's negative attitude, she got to the top, and raced down the other side, bound for Angler Station.

Episode 36: Mily & The Circus Train

S.B: Now this is a reference to another classical movie everyone loves. Disney's 1941, Dumbo. The following scene is a reference to Casey Junior's scene in the film.

Song: (Start it at 0:02) link

Narrator: As Mily got coupled up to the circus train she got refueled for the journey. Workmen oiled her joints so she could run smoothly. Meanwhile, the workers for the circus were getting things prepared.
Kangaroos: *Watching the door on their car get closed*
Zebras: *Getting on board a freight car with two camels*
Circus workers: *Close the door on the car*
Zebras & Camels: *Stick their head out of the car, and enjoy the cool breeze*
Narrator: Can we hurry this up? We're on a tight budget.
Audience: *Laughing*

Stop the song.

Narrator: Everything, and everyone was ready. The ring master climbed onto the caboose, and said.
Ring Master: All aboard! All aboard!
Mily: All aboard, let's go. *Blows her whistle, then tries to pull the train. Her wheels slip half way then stop. The same thing happens on her segundo attempt to pull the train. On her third attempt, her wheels slip fast, but she slowly pulls out of the station* This is tough, but I can do it. *Her wheels stop slipping, and her speed increases*

Episode 42: Mily's Steam Problem

S.B: You know how steam engines blow out steam when they depart? I took that as a sign. It's the equivalent of passing gas, and it's not the first episode to make this reference. I think the first one is episode 7, but when steam engines blow out steam, it's not just to pass gas. They can also use their steam to make arms, and hands, and grab a few objects. You never know when that'll come in handy.

Episode 45: Larissa And The Trouble With Trees

S.B: The reference in this episode is similar to the one in The Fonz. Only this time, the episode it refers to is James & The Trouble With Trees, a season 5 episode from Thomas The Tank Engine.

Episode 51: Bodine. Sean Bodine

S.B: I couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a reference on the most popular movie franchise ever. Let's play the clip.

---

Song: link

White circles kept appearing on a black screen, and then, this happened.

S.B: *Walking to the left, surrounded por a white círculo on the black screen. He quickly turns to the left, and fires a bullet from his handgun*

The screen slowly turns red from the topo, início to the bottom, and the círculo moves left, and right.

---

S.B: Another reference is made to that opening with someone else, who was not comfortable with the requirement that needed to be made to successfully make the reference.

---

Song: link

A James Bond gunbarrel sequence begins

Mily: *Going to the left in the middle of a while circle, and holds a gun, but she gets scared when she sees the gun* WHY AM I CARRYING THIS?!? *Throws the gun away*

The círculo dissolves to the Northern Errol Line's yards.

Stop the song.

---

S.B: If you thought she was uncomfortable with that, you gotta see what else she goes through in other parts of her Adventure.
Announcer: Mily's Adventure, coming to a video store near you, only available on Blu Ray.

Episode 56: The Big Surprise

S.B: There are two references here. The first one, I'll let you run wild with your imagination, but the segundo one showing a male steam engine with cylinders is a reference to a man, having two certain female body parts.

---

Mike: *Enters the yards* Heeey.
Rachael & Suzie: *Smiling* Hi Fonzi.
Mike: Why don't we go into the siding, and "chat" ladies?
Narrator: They're not really going to do that.
Audience: *Laughing*

* * *

Rachael & Suzie: *Blushing as they return to the yards with Mike*
Rachael: Oh, that felt great.
Suzie: Do that to me again, but seguinte time, between my cylinders. Will you Fonzi?
Mike: You got it.

---

Mr. Baldwin: Okay, I heard that some of you were struggling with the freight trains we've been getting.
Carter: Finally! He's gonna make them all disappear!
Audience: *Laughing*
Mr. Baldwin: Uh, I didn't say that.
Carter: Well you'll make it happen, won't you?!
Audience: *Laughing*
Mr. Baldwin: Uh, no. Instead, I got a new steam engine.
Carter: Okay, that works.
Audience: *Laughing*

Austin is the new steam engine

Narrator: The new steam engine arrived.
Austin: Hello everyone, I'm Austin, and I'm the new steam engine.
Engines: *Shocked*
Audience: *Laughing*
Narrator: Everyone was surprised, but not in a good way.
Audience: *Laughing*
Austin: Uh, is something the matter?
Audience: *Laughing*
Jesse: YOU'RE A MALE STEAM ENGINE!!!
Audience: *Laughing*
Austin: *Confused* And?
Ian: Steam engines aren't supposed to be male!!
Narrator: And they all went into their sheds, closing the doors, and locking them.
Audience: *Laughing*

Episode 58: Surprise Attack

S.B: The very first episode of 2016. After being defeated por Mily for the very first time, the Northern Errol Line engines try to find a way to stop her. Before they can discuss any plans however, they start the conversation with something off topic. Again, I'm going to let your imagination run wild with this one.

---

Ferris: Who was that blue steam engine?
Jack: I don't know, but did you see her cylinders? Are they huge, or what?!
Audience: *Laughing*
Panzer: Let's focus on her body parts later.

Episode 66: Rescue

S.B: I think this one is the most dramatic reference I've ever made in this show. The following scene is a reference to First Blood.

---

Narrator: We were on our way to the harbor. That's where Sean was, looking at Jack who was shunting some freight cars.
Sean: Where is she?
Jack: Who?
Sean: You know who I'm talking about. Jazlin. What have you done with her?
Jack: Leave me alone. Don't you have any passenger trains to haul?
Sean: *Roughly pushes Jack, and his freight cars*
Jack: Whoa. *His back wheels get derailed*
Sean: I'm going to ask you again.
Jack: Yeah, like that does anything.
Audience: *Laughing*
Sean: *Slowly pushing Jack, and the freight cars* And I expect an answer.
Jack; Whoa wait a minute, wait a minute. You're pushing me off the tracks.
Sean: That's the idea.
Jack: Any further, and I'll fall off the edge!
Sean: Well we don't want that, do we?
Jack: *Scared*
Sean: Now you're going to tell me where Jazlin is, or else you're gonna go for a swim.
Jack: No! *Looks at himself getting closer towards the edge*
Sean: *Continues to slowly push* I'll speed it up if you don't tell me.
Jack: Oh! AHH!!
Mily: SEAN!!
Sean: *Stops, and looks at Mily behind him*
Mily: Sean, don't do it. It won't solve anything. *Slowly moves towards his side* Pull him back onto the tracks.
Jack: *Sighs*
Sean: *Still angry, he pushes Jack off the edge*
Jack: *Lands in the water with two of the freight cars*
Sean: *Backing up*
Mily: Sean, you're not gonna save Jazlin this way. *Following him*
Sean: Why are you following me?
Mily: Because I want to talk to you. I want to help you. We all do.
S.B: She's right Sean. We want Jazlin back just as much as you do. Can you stop so we can talk about it?
Sean: *Sighs* Fine.

Scene (Start at 5:39): link

Teasle: *Moaning as he lays on the ground*
Rambo: *Coming towards Teasle with an M60*
Teasle: Go ahead. Go ahead! GO AHEAD YOU CRAZY SON OF A _____ AND DO IT!!
Trautman: RAMBO!!
Rambo: *Looks at at Trautman*
Trautman: Rambo don't do it! *Walks over to Rambo* Listen to me Rambo. You have no chance. Drop your weapon. We're gonna order in a chopper to fly you back to Bragg.
Rambo: *Standing*
Sniper: *Fires a bullet which hits the counter*
Trautman: *Walks towards the windows* HOLD YOUR FIRE!!! Colonel?!
Colonel: Yes?
Trautman: Hold your fire!!
Colonel: *Talking to the others* Hold your fire. Hold your fire!!
Rambo: *Grabs an assault rifle*
Trautman: Think about what you're doing! The building's perimeter is covered. No exits. There are nearly 200 men out there with a lot of M16's. You did everything to make this private war happen. You've done enough damage! This mission is over Rambo, do you understand me? This mission is over!!! Look at 'em out there! LOOK AT 'EM!! If you don't end this now they could kill you. Is that what you want? It's over Johnny. It's over!!
Rambo: NOTHING IS OVER!! NOTHING!! YOU JUST DON'T TURN IT OFF!! IT WASN'T MY WAR!! YOU ASKED ME, I DIDN'T ASK YOU!! AND I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO TO WIN, BUT SOMEBODY WOULDN'T LET US WIN!!

---

S.B: Let's mover onto something less violent.

Episode 67: Don't Wreck My Car

Song (Start it at 2:50): link

Narrator: I finally got into Mr. Baldwin's car. It took a long time, but it was worth it.
S.B: *Gets into the car, puts a capacete on, as well as a assento belt. He starts the car, and drives it*
Mr. Baldwin: *Gets hit por two racers*
Mr. Bruce: *Watching Mr. Baldwin's car*
Mr. Baldwin: *Nearly gets pushed off the track, but brakes, and regains control of the car*
S.B: *Driving Mr. Baldwin's car onto the track*
Racers: *Moving out of the way to avoid hitting S.B in Mr. Baldwin's car*
Mr. Bruce: *Angry*
Mr. Baldwin: *Taking another turn*
S.B: *Catching up to Mr. Baldwin, and gets seguinte to his car. He lightly taps it*
Mr. Baldwin: S.B?!!? What are you doing?!?!?!?
S.B: Jump for it!! You're booby trapped!!

Mr. Baldwin removed his megaphone from the front window, and stuck it out the driver side window

S.B: Come on!!
Mr. Baldwin: *Removes his microphone from his race car, and puts it in his car* What do you mean booby trapped?
S.B: I thought it was.

And that's when it exploded.

Mr. Baldwin: *Watching the explosion* Hey, good thinking, thanks a lot Bodine.
S.B: It's all right. Hang on.

---

Scene (Start at 1:20): link

I'm not typing these scenes anymore. Just watch this clip until you reach the 3 minuto mark.

Episode 68: The Easter Express

S.B: This is my favorito episode of all time. You'll see why with this scene, referring to everything from 1977.

S.B: What's the matter Suzie?
Suzie: I'll tell you, but my voice will sound different.
Narrator: Be prepared for a musical number.
Audience: *Quietly laughing*

Song (Start it at 0:46): link

Suzie: I'm sittin' in the station, lonely as can be. Never get to go nowhere, life is passing me.
S.B: *Walks towards Suzie's cab*
Suzie: All I hear is 2nd hand news. I got the train yard blues.

Meanwhile, a montage of everything from 1977 began, starting with the world's series.

Audience: *Laughing*
Lou Piniella: *Hits the baseball after the pitcher for the Dodger throws the ball*
The Bandit: *Drifting on a dirt road in his Trans Am Firebird*
Luke Skywalker: *Staring at the sunset on Tatooine*

The estrela Wars sequence from A New Hope begins

Major Winchester: *Arrives on a wagon in M*A*S*H**
Chugs: *Singing the song as he rolls off the turntable*
James Bond: *Drives his Lotus Esprit off the docks in The Spy Who Loved Me*
Jon Baker & Frank Poncherello: *Riding motocicletas in the very first episode of CHiPs*

Episode 71: Colored Steam

S.B: There are two references in this episode. The character Lucy, making her first appearance in this episode is a reference to Lucy Heartfilia from Fairy Tail.

---

Song: link

Audience: *Laughing*
Passenger 943: Don't shout like that. You'll get the cops over here faster than you can say... Forget it. Shout all you want. They won't hear us.
Audience: *Laughing*
Passenger 950: When does our train get here?
Passenger 484: We don't know, so stop asking.
Passenger 950: I only asked once.
Passenger 640: You asked fifteen times.
Audience: *Laughing*

Episode 74: The Lookalike

S.B: I laughed for hours when I thought up of this one. This scene refers to Donald Trump, in a Sesame rua parody, por Mad TV.

---

Song: link

Audience: *Laughing*
Mr. Bruce: I, love, cash. And I don't care if somebody falls victim. If someone's in the gutter I'll kick them. Just to get, their, cash. Take it hair.

S.B: Needless to say, the same audio from Mad TV was used in that episode.

For those of you that don't know, I created a series called Thomas & friends on this website. I'm going to change the título to Adventures of Thomas The Tank Engine: And Friends.

Here are the characters that will show up in the series, and what they'll be like.

From the Railway Series

Thomas

In the seguinte episode feauturing Thomas, we'll see him carrying a freight train of chemicals to the Scientific Research Facility. However, a fallen árvore causes Thomas to crash, and also gets the chemicals to fall out of Thomas's train, and onto Thomas. The chemicals have not harmed Thomas, but they did give...

Thomas: Oh, I'm just running my branch line as usual. What's going on with you?
Paxton: Sir Tophamm Hat asked me to deliver toys for the children.
Thomas: That sounds like a wonderful job.
Paxton: Why thank you Thomas. Listen, I've been hearing Diesel 10 talk about you, and the rest of the steam engines....
