New years eve, a time for people to over indulged in particular beverages, kiss after a silly countdown, and make promises to themselves they know damn well they won't keep. But Icy knew better, resolutions are for losers. For people who have something to change about their sorry selves, and Icy for one is perfect. She would just sit there and watch the people of Magix senselessly blow off fireworks and toss confetti that would only dirty the town's streets for the seguinte mês making them an unbearable spew of arco iris, arco-íris glitter. To her it looked like the faeries of Magix threw up all over the damn street. And for what? It's not like 2014 will be any better than 2013 nor would 2015 topo, início 2014. In fact, Icy was pretty certain that each ano she actually managed to venture further into Shitsville. With a wild whoop Stormy darted across the living room and placed a ridiculously--almost dangerously--pointy paper hat with shiny streamers rippling off of it. Icy looked absolutely ridiculous and she knew it. She had found her New Year's resolution; to get that thing off her head. And she did just that and tossed the atrocious attire to the floor. "Way to poop on the party!" Stormy declared tossing her arms into the air--nearly landing a slap on Darcy's face.
"Watch it, you almost made me spill the wine on myself!" Darcy muttered.
"She almost made me spill my dignity on myself." Icy grumbled.
"So what's your new year's resolution?" Stormy asked.
"To get some new minions." Darcy decided.
"To get some new friends." Icy stated mais to herself than anyone else. "Because mine are idiots."
"Idiots how?" Stormy questioned as the countdown to the new ano began. At the words 'happy new years' the witch sprayed silly string about the room and tossed confetti every which way. Much to Icy's dismay most of the silly string found its way into her hair.
Just great, now her living room looked like fairy vomit. Happy, happy new years.
