The tranquility of the river was brilliant. The leaves on the trees and the grama was a gorgeous esmeralda green, the sky a perfect cyan. The birds were cantar their beautiful song, the river peixe leaping from the clear, cool water.
This was true freedom. Everyone would think so. At least, Amanda Rosenberg thought so, but all the people she knew personally thought so too. Her eyes were closed, and she felt the happiness that comes with being free. Her striped camisa blew in the wind. She was a chick, flying from the nest.
"And, if you thought Larson the Cyclops was a howler, you will amor this seguinte one! Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you: AMY THE AMAZING GIANTESS!!"
Amanda sighed as she walked on the stage to her reality of life. Being humiliated every morning, afternoon and evening to a laughing crowd who threw things at her and her friends. She gave a small, sad smile and a thumbs up to Larson and prepared to start her act. Grow, grow, grow, shrink a bit, grow. Absolutely hilarious, thought every flipping member of that audience filled with normal human beings, and a couple of pet cachorros women smuggled into the circus por making them hide in their handbags.
Amanda thought of her lust for freedom as she got pelted with rotten apples and a few rotten eggs being thrown por teenage boys. How much further away could that be? She'd been sent to this circus at the age of seven, and this was her 30th ano of being part of it. She thought it was unfair that everyone except from her and her mates seemed to have a will to live and a feeling that everything's gonna be alright. But what's it worth? Tomorrow and every other dia after that would be the exact same as this one...wouldn't it?
