Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Spoiler alert! The following contains spoilers from Sunday night’s episode of
If there’s one thing we can say for absolute certain about this season of
, it’s that it’s the best season of the show yet. It’s no secret that the zombie series has had it’s ups and downs (cough Hershel’s farm, cough cough), but so far in season five it’s been on a definitive upswing, and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
Sunday’s episode, “Consumed” put fan-favorite characters Carol and Daryl on a mission to Atlanta to rescue Beth.  But more than anything else this episode was about Carol, one of the characters who has changed the most of the show’s run. She’s gone from a timid, battered housewife to the most capable and confident fighter among our survivors. “Consumed” gave us insights into Carol we didn’t have before with flashbacks — including to the short time after Rick kicked her out of the prison and a few moments here and there we’d never seen before — and by physically bringing her and Daryl to the battered women’s shelter she once stayed at.
It was a powerful episode full of powerful imagery. Oh and there was that part when Carol and Daryl were lying on a bed together. And the part where they fell off a bridge together. And the part where Carol got hit by a car and taken to the hospital. Between the all scares and the emotions (ALL THE EMOTIONS), fans were basically in love with the episode:
