I wonder if in schools, they taught about America and the world before Panem came into existence. I personally would be curious to know what was here before my current country, if there were any other countries, ect. Even in the first book Katniss mentions that District 12 was formerly known as Appalachian. Also wonder if anything was ever recovered in Panem from America. The Hunger Games was a big hit at my school. I became interested in it around the time Mockingjay was just released. Everyone loved Peeta and, even though I had yet to read the book, said to myself: "I'm going to be Team Gale just because everyone likes this Peeta guy!" but in turn I found out I like Peeta mais than Gale.
