First off, nice job on designing the set for "The Good Wife". I have been a fã since early on, and amor her apartment! I I'd like to know what as cores and paint type you are using in the living area. There is a beautiful green if I recall...my place is not unlike the set so I'd like to look at the as cores to see if they'd work as well in my space.
The living room is wallpapered and unfortunately that paper has been discontinued.
Where can I get the bedding set used in Alicia's room? I amor it.
Alicia's bedding has been discontinued but try www.frenchquarterlinens.com for similar beautiful choices.
I would amor to know Alicia's bedroom mural color and manufacturer. Also, it is a set, right, and not a Chicago apartment?
You are correct. Alicia's apartment is a 3000 sq ft. set on a sound stage in Brooklyn NY. We use Chicago backdrops out the windows of the set.
Where are the cabinets that are in the kitchen?
The cozinha cabinets were custom made por our set carpenters.
Where can I get the prints with the different Chicago rua names (e.g. Grant, Michigan, etc.) that hang in the office?
Those were designed specifically for the set and we had them made.

There seems to be so many little personal touches around the set, especially in the Florrick's apartment, what was the process you went through to achieve that, did you collaborate closely with the actors, directors, writers, etc or were you given a certain amount of free will?
As a set decorator for over 25 years I strive to create an environment as rich and layered as possible. The Florrick início had to tell a story that initially did not include Peter (Chris Noth) so the início was centered on Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and her two children. The family had to downsize when they moved from a larger início but we worked to create a comfortable environment primarily for the two teenage children. I work closely with the production designer Stephen Hendrickson as well as the producers and show creators Robert and Michelle King. We have added mais layers and specific items each episode as the script dictates. As the set decorator I am given a certain amount of free will to give the characters history and make choices for them.
I was particularly admiring the planter in Alicia's cozinha that's plainly visible when she's talking to Peter the morning after in the coração episode. It looks as though it's a brown/grey color with maybe a margarida design on it? Do you have the maker of it or know where I can go to order the same one?
The planter was purchased at an antique store I comprar at frequently called John Koch Antiques in NYC. It is one of a kind. They have many other beautiful items at www.kochantiques.com
Who are the artists or names of the paintings in the law offices? The large abstracts?
The scenic artists who work on our show have created the artwork based on research and direction from myself and the production designer.
I am trying to create the living room in my house. I found the sofa in the living room but would appreciate any help about the chair and ottoman maker and colors. Also, amor the wallpaper and paint as cores on the walls in the living room. Any help on this room would be so appreciated!!!
The chair is from Baker but it is an old piece and not available anymore. There are chairs with a similar shape at many fine furniture stores. Look for one that is larger in scale instead of a petite chair.
Where did you find Diane's escrivaninha, mesa in her office. I amor it!
The escrivaninha, mesa is an antique one of a kind piece from John Koch Antiques. There is a similar escrivaninha, mesa of metal tressle legs with a glass topo, início available at Find in Brooklyn, NY. You can reach them at 718-369-2705. Ask for Dennis.
I amor the wallpaper in Stern Lockhart and Gardner, I want that for my office. Where can I find it?
The wallpaper is Delphos #KSC 33452 link
