The island of Mauke in the Cook Islands is an idylic little island of friendly people and beautiful tropical scenery. Here's a walk around the island's 16Km (10-mile) perimenter road. It's one of the most pleasant walks in the world.

On the Island of Mauke in the Cook Islands every natal and New Years one of the two villages on the island hosts the other with a feast. The guest village then goes from house to house cantar traditional songs.
