CapedClown Some history facts for you Titans Junkies. Terra(Tara Markov), unlike most well-known Titans was created with a planned beginning and end. There are many characters that have joined the Titans only to betray them. A prime example is Raven, and a lesser example is Robin. However, while Raven and Robin were intentionally created to be heroes, Terra was created to be a villain. Marv Wolfman and George Perez created her solely to be a traitor and to be killed off. The original Terra was the illegitimate child of the ruler of Markovia. She was given her Earth-manipulation powers through experimentation. Because of psychological trauma in her youth she became a mercenary, later working for Deathstroke the Terminator. She staged a fight with Deathstroke so she could join the Titans, then provided information on the Titans to Deathstroke, leading to their eventual capture. They were held captive by Deathstroke's contractor, the H.I.V.E., but were rescued by Nightwing and Deathstroke's son Jericho, who possessed his father. Terra, believing that Deathstroke had betrayed her, caused the H.I.V.E. structure to collapse in an attempt to kill him. Deathstroke escaped, but Terra died in the fatal cave-in. qwertytop Terra was a plothole created by Marv Wolfman. By this point, all the Titans had a love interest, but not Beast Boy. He was simply the flirty, witty comic relief guy that no one took too seriously. Terra changed that by filling 211 issues to give the Titans something to do. Basically, Terra is the biggest comic troll ever.
