What'd you think of the first line of the movie???

I started to freak out a bit.
Through the movie I fell in amor with him and didn't remember that he said that. And then when he was dying I was like "oh right, he said it's the story of how he died!!" and I thought "please no, no, no. He CAN'T die!" and then my eyes actually started to get teary...

I think that line is very good.
for me I was entirely in a shock, when you hear it for the first time, it makes you think : "OMG! he's going to die!!! this I've gotta see"

I was also in shock, I nearly cried

I thought it was an amazing line! How many filmes open like that? The segundo he said that, I went "Wow". Then I went "What? How can he DIE!" and I was waiting the entire movie for it to happen, and then when he died I almost started crying!
Then some brat behind me went "Mummy, is he gonna die? How's he gonna die? Is he?" and people started to laugh. Ugh. Oh well.

No, but I thought the line was one of the best line's I've ever heard!!!!! And one of the saddest...

I was like "Wait... are we in the right movie?" LOL

It was perfect ( just like everything in movie)

though I did go like " oi what no he cant die ??? come on its a movie for children they cant kill him "

To be honest it should have started with a storybook like the way they did it in encantada and have Flynn saying Once upon a time in a dark forest there lived a young girl named Rapunzel,she wished to see the daylight as Mother Gothel stoled her away from her family as a baby. But enough about her this story is all about me well for a while I guess. I found the beginning a bit dull as it was as exciting as the whole film.

When I heard this, my first thoughts were, what a depressing movie. then i really got into it and wen we got to the bit were hes about to die i was in tears but i didn't let anyone see this (i kind of hid behind my 3d glasses and tried not to sniff to much) im sooooo glad he didnt!

It's good for spoiling the movie LOL

It freaked me out. After all, I thought it would be humour and suddenly I thought, OMG is this a drama? :)

When i heard this The whole theater cracked up because they thought it wasnt going to happen......When she stabbed him i heard tons of gasps and i remembered the first line... i cried becaused he became my favorito charicter

I was all like, 'If somebody dies, I am going to scream!' I kind of felt that way when I saw How to Train Your Dragon and I was all like, 'If he has a peg leg I'm going to scream' I was just about to scream when Flynn died until I glanced over at my older sister and she was starting to cry, I almost started cracking up! Then, when he came back to life, I was so relieved. I didn't like the movie for a while, until it came out on DVD but that's usually how I am. I see a movie in the theater and I don't really like it, then I see it at home, and i fall in amor with it!

When I first heard those words I thought: What is he talking about? this supposed to be a princess movie. Then after eveything he said I realized I'm so dumb. But until I saw Flynn's death I remembered about the first line in i thought maybe Flynn could died, maybe this movie wouldn't have a happy ending and I started to cry just a little bit. Then when he came back to life I was so relief(phew that was close).I think the first line is perfect for a funny movie like Tangled, it brought out the whole personalities of Flynn. I like it, it's really funny. I just amor everything about Tangled. enrolados rocks
