This story almost goes with my last one, Another Story but it is different. Addi and Nathen moved from Forks, Washington to Coconut grove Florida to keep Samantha and Oakley (their kids) seguro from vampires.  



My name is Samantha, I'm 16 years old and I live in a small town called Coconut Grove, Florida. My family and I moved here from Forks, Washington when we were just little kids. Meaning my twin brother and I. My twin's name is Oakley, he has really dark skin like my dad and blonde hair like my mom. My dad tells me that I look just like my mom, blond hair and blue eyes. My hair is natural I have nevered dyied it at all. I don't really have that many friends and the ones I do have are guys. Girls here in my town don't like to surf all the like to do is lay out in biquínis and boy watch. Okay, I admit I like boy watching too but why watch when you could be surfing. Today was going to he awesome because the waves were good. Oakley and I woke up around 3:30 ate some breakfast and then got ready for an all dia surfing session! I couldn't wait. I amor surfig but when my brother wakes me up to go surfing it's gonna be good 1.because when he wakes me up I know he cares and that means a lot to me 2.the waves are awesome. My parents told me that I'm half lobo shape-shifter but I didn't get enough of the gene to shift from lobo to human unlike my perfect twin brother Oakley. Oakley was good at everything and it seemed that sometimes dad liked him mais than me. Oakley was good in school great at surfing and he had tons of friends. Me, i'm having a little bit of a hard time getting through school and idint have many friends because my surfing takes up to much time. Girls here in Cocnut Grove are really girly and when I say really girly you better believe it. I work my hardest towards everything And espicialy school and surfing sometime mais surfing but that is because it is something I'm passionate about. Anways we got up that morning and I drove tithe beaching my 4 door jeep that was a deep gray. It was an amazig car I had just gotten for my sixteenth birthday. When we got to the de praia, praia it was really crowded so I decided that Oak and I would go to our spot Real Locals Only. Even though I wasn't born here in this two. Everyone knew me as either Oakley sister or the surfer girl. Once we got to our spot some of Oakley's friends were already there. I said oi to Garrett, Mullettfingers ( he can catch mullets with his bare hands!) and then there was Fisher. Fisher knew that I had a crush on him but I never knew if he liked me the same way. Once I said oi to everyone I headed straight for the water. I always had on my rashguard before I gotto the de praia, praia because I knewn if I didn't I would never put it on and then it would cause a major rash that hurts. I caught fou major waves before the guys decided to come cadastrar-se me and then I had to share the waves. It wasn't as bad sharing though. I had a blast surfing until I wiped out and slide across a rock or something that cause me to cut my shoulder and rashguard. It was funny though because once I popped up Oakley was right beside helpig me onto my board. 
That was a nasty fall. Okaley said to me. 
Yeah. I said wincing in pain. 
We should go in and clean you up. Oakley said. 
No need I'm already healing. I said. 
Okay. He said and turned to paddle back to the line-up. 
I got back to the line-up and all the guys were like wow that was nasty fall dude.  I knew right then that I needed to change I didn't want to be called a man dude or guy. I wanted to be a girl. I told Oakley together a ride back with one of them that I was going in for a little bit and he said ok. 
I was stunned that I just got called a guy. I paddled in and got my stuff and then drove. I knew that I wasn't going to he able not to surf but I needed a new rashguard so I went início  to get one and of course mom and dad had to ask questions. 
What happened Sam? My dad asked right as I walked in the door. 
I had a wipe out and when I got back to all the guys Garrett said something like "wow that was a nasty wipe out dude". I didn't feel like surfing with them any more. I told him. 
Awe, honey. I'm sorry. He told me. 
It's not your fault it's mine. I should be a girl. I said. 
You are a girl and you are beautiful if he doesn't see you as a girl then he doesn't see the real you. He said to me. 
Thanks dad. I said. 
amor you sweety. He said. 
amor you too. I said while walkig towards my room to get another rashguard. 
I got my rashguard and put it on and then decided to go back to the de praia, praia where Oakley and the guys were surfing. Once I got there they were all sitting on the de praia, praia eating lunch. I decided not to eat right then I wanted to be myself a d surf alone. Surfing alone is dangerous that's why I always have someone there that knows me really well. Like to know that surfig is a stressr reliever and something that I like to do por myslf.  I went past all the guys and then headed for the surf. I caught some amazing waves, it always semmed like that I caught the best ways when I wasn't layig attention that well. Today was the dia that I had a million things running through my head and I wasn't paying attention to the surf condition. I caught this really big wave and started to drop in on it when I figured ohtthat this was going to be bad. I was farther out the normally and when I did a nose dive dropping into that wave I went deep. I felt my being pulled up and then let go really quickly and that's when I noticed that my leash broke. I swam to the surface and that's when I saw another big wave about to break right on topo, início of me. I took a big gulp of air and ducked back under the surface I got pushed deep not as deep as the lasttime but it was deep enough to where the rocks got my leash cord and then it was stuck. I tried swimming upward to see if I could brake it and then I tried pulling on it and it didn't work. I had a leash that buckled instead of velcrow. I couldn't unbuckled it. I was getting scared now. I knew that I could not start to panic or that would be it for me. I was starting to see black dots coming into my vision when I felt Oakley grab me and pull me towards the surface. That was the last thing I remembered and felt. 

Oakley's POV 

I saw Sam take a brutle fall so I looked to see if she came up and she did and that's when I was happy because I knew she wasn't hurt and then a bigger wave came and crashed on her and that's when I realized that she needed help. I went and searched for her and found her unconious and stuck por her leash. It worried me to death. I got her to costa and told one of the guys to call 911 and I started CPR on her. I did a couple of pumps on her chest and then blew oxygen into her lungs and did this probably 3 times before she started spitting water out of her mouth. Once the ambulância arrived the took care of her she was awake when they put her in the back of the ambulância but when we got to the hospital she was unconious. I quickly called mom and dad and they were at the hospital with in minutes. I was worried so much for Sam. I told mom and dad the whole story how the accident happened. Soon dad was on the phone with Carlisle and the family. We had kept in touch even though we moved when wwe were little. We spent natal and birthdays with them. Dad got off of the phone.
Dad, what did they say? I ask.
They said that they were going to come down. He said.
Okay. I said.
Soon all of the guys came in and sat with me. Mom and Dad were in Sam's room but I couldn't go in and see her all hooked up to machines and not know when she would wake up. Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie, Emmet, Alice and Jasper were on there way here and would probably arrive tomorrow. We didn't know when Sam would be waking up.Three dia past and Sam still hadn't woke up yet. I was worried Sam and I were usually fast healers best f the lobo gene in use but she was taking time healing. The cute in her arm wasn't even close to start healing yet and that had me worried. Carlisle,Esme,Jasper, Alice, Emmet and Risalie came down yesterday and Edward,Bella and Renesme were catching a plane tomorrow. Carlisle was now Sam's doctor instead of the regualr doctor. Our regular doctor knew that we were wolfs because he was one too along with his son Garrett my best friend. I knew why Sam had really went início earlier. I could see it in her eyes right as Garrett spoke the words. I knew she didn't like being called a guy. I remember on time when we were little we were both surfing at the de praia, praia and I had been ignoring her and she was trying to tell me. I told her to go hang out with the guys she knew. Her response was I don't just have guy friends ya know. I told her that every girl was to scared to hang out with her because she was to guyish or she never acted like a girl. She didn't say anything to me for 2 days until I applogized. I knew it was hard for her to make friends because of her lobo gene. Guys were scared of her because of her height and how much muscele she had.

Sam's POV
When I woke up my parents were sitiing right beside my cama looking at me.
Mom, dad. I said.
Oh, Honey your awake. My mom said to me.
I'll go get Carlisle. Dad said getting up.
Carlisle is here? I ask.
Yes, he came as soon as heard what had happen. Mom told me.
I'm sorry. I wasn't layig attention. I was mad and lost in my own world of surfing. I told them.
It's not your fault. Dad told me as he kissed my forehead.
oi Sam. Carlisle said.
You haven't changed a bit since I last saw you. I said.
Everyone started laughing knowing the inside joke.
How are you feeling? He ask.
Pretty good but sore. I told Carlisle.
That's great and you seem to have no memory lose at all. He said.
How come I can barely mover my toes? I asked worriedly.
When one of the waves pushed you under your knee slammed into a rock and cracked it. Carlisle told me.
But I thought that I had pretty tough bones, being a lobo and all. I said.
Sam your lobo gene is going away. Carlise said with simpathy in his voice.
I thought you couldn't lose it? Will I get it back? Have you seen this before? I asked in all one breath.
I haven't ever seen this before Sam. I'm sorry but I don't think you skill get it back. He told me.
I was in shock. I didn't want to lose me werewolf in me that's what made me me. I didn't say anything. I just started crying. Mom, Dad and Carlisle left the room and Oakley and Garrett walked in soon after they had left.
oi Samantha. Oakley said.
Hi Oaks. oi Garrett. I said.
How ya feeling? Oakley ask.
Okay I guess. I'm sorry about your lobo side. Garrett said.
Yeah me too. I said looking down allowing mais tears to fall down my face. Alice and Jasper came into my room next. Jasper was controling my emotions again. seguinte were Emmet and Rosalie. Emmet was trying to be the suppotive uncle and look at the bright side of not being a lobo and Rosalie brushed my hair for me. Carlisle came in with Esme and I got hugs from both of them and they told me that I was going início tomorrow morning. I didn't sleep very well at all that night and I couldn't wait till I gotto go home. I was awake at three am when Carlisle told me I could go início now. I couldn't wait. Carlise was unhooking me from the IV when Oakley walked in when my clothes well they were his clothes but I loved his sweat pants. I put them on and then a camisa and hopped out of the hospital. I got início and went strait to my room. My room was huge I had a queensized bed. It was very beachy. I had a small pile of sand where I always kept my board or where I did keep my board. I layed down on my cama and soon fell asleep. It wasn't a dreamless sleep though. I dreampt that I was surfing again and my leg was healed but this the waves were huge I mean like head over waves. I started paddling and I felt the wave pick me up so I did the pop-up and I dropped in tithe biggest wave ever. I was doing amazing tricks and turns. I had road the biggest wave of my life and tons of people were there. Not only my whole family but reporters and other surfers. It was almost like I was in a contest. So I paddled back in to costa and when I got there, Rob Machado and Kelly Slater were there they picked me up and carried me in their shoulders. I was in The Pipeline Master Series I couldn't believe it. I was getting a trophy when I woke up to Oakley caing my name.
Sam, are you okay? Oakley ask.
Yeah, why? I ask.
I tried calling your name five times. He said.
Sorry I was dreaming. I said.
What about? He ask.
Pipline Masters. I said.
That's cool. He said.
Mote than cool. Rob Machado and Kelly Slater picked me up and let me sit on their shoulders after I surfed. I said.
Um, yeah I was wrong that totaly wicked. He said.
I know! Help me. I want to go down stairs. I said.
Oakley picked me up and ran me downstairs.
Oak! I wanted to walk. I told him.
Sorry. He said.
It's fine, but could you put me down? I said.
Yeah sorry. He said.
I hopped through the livingroom to the kitchen. Edward, Bella and Renesme were in there.
Samantha! Renesme said running up to me and giving me a hug.
Renesme was 3 years older than me.
oi Nessie. Wow you've grown up! I said.
Yep, I'm done though. She said.
That's cool. Jake didn't come with you? I ask.
Yeah he is out at the beach. She told me.
Cool. Somethig smells wonderful Uncle Edward. I said.
Yeah, I made you maccroni and cheese. It was the only thing that you would me cook for you when you were little. Edward said.
Thanks. I said.
I sat down and ate a bowl full of homemade maccaroni and cheese. It was so good. I usually just made Easy Mac or something because I was always to be in a hurry to be back surfing. I remember one time it seemed like my maccroni was taking for ever so I stood there watching the micorwave so that the segundo it was done I could pull it out and start eating. My mom walked in on me watching it and started laughing because I couldn't wait three and half minutos for it to cook.
I told Edward thanks for cooking for me then I got up and went to watch tv. Of course Emmet was in there watching football so I hopped up the stair to my room and turned it on a surfing channel. I layed there for an our till I noticed that I hadn't seen Oakley at all. I started thinking and decided to get up and check the surf report. The swell was perfect today. The shape they wereforming was unbelieveable. I was said when I hoped up out of the chair and tried to run and I put weight on my cast. It hurt so bad. I remembered that dad one dia built me a roof topo, início deck above my room that I was able to go out on and sit or really anything. It had a ladder going to the topo, início and I wouldn't be able to climb it with the cast. I figured out that I could step up with my good foot and then pull myself up with my arms. It worked really well. It was beautiful outside. I decided that I should go put on my bathsuit so I could lay out an be girly for once. I started thinking about how I could get down and I thought about Emmet.
oi Emmet come to my room. I said in a normal voice knowing he could hear me.
Yeah, where are you? He said walking into my room.
I'm up here on my deck. I said.
He walked outside and looked back up to the roof.
I can't get down. I said.
Emmet was already huge so all he had to do is reach up and grab me. The ladder only had 12 steps but I didn't want to chance my luck trying to go down them. So Emmet reached up for me than he sat me down gently on the ground.
Thanks. I said.
He didn't say a word. That was unusual for him not to speak to me. I was close to all of my family but Emmet and I were the closest out of any of them. I wondered what was going on in his head. I went and put on my bikini and I grabbed a de praia, praia towel and my iPod. I hopped outside threw my towel up onto the deck and then I held my iPod in my mouth and climb up the ladder. Once I got up there I layed my towel on my chair and then I put my iPod in and listened to some music. I started listen to some Jimmy Buffett, I grew up listenig to him. My dad was a big fan. I thought about how when I was younger i would listen to Jimmy Buffett when no one would take me surfing or just at night when I wasn't surfing. I never really needed to lay out because I was naturally this tan but I thought it would do me some good. I was bored for sure.
