	Kaidi picked Stephen King: Edgar Allan Poe's stories aren't so frightening nowadays, maybe they were before, but not anymore(at least I think so). And I haven't heard anything about the other authors, so I chose Stephen King. By the way, Stephen's son Joe Hill is also a good horror author. OK, I admit, that I'm reading my first book by him, but it's amazing. :D posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

	fanfly picked Dean Koontz: Sorry, but I've never liked King's work- I think he focuses too much on the horror and not enough on the humanity. Which brings me to Koontz; he would be perfect to tell the Winchester story. He can do horror fine, but he also knows that at the core of any story are characters and that's what's important. He delves into the human psyche and many of his books are about people overcoming horror and proving their humanity. They can be so uplifting. He's one of my favourite authors. posted over a year ago.
