Anakin checked on both women as they slept uneasy. Even with the force he couldn't stop Padame's cousin from the heavy guilt rampaging through her system. He'd given up and called the Chancellor."I need to know who's behind this and I need to know soon." Chancellor Palpatine's face was a mask of concern."Yes, I know Anakin but these things take time.The investigation could take months you can't spare away from the battle." Anakin rocked back and forth on his heels."Yes I know that,but a couple of days. At least Padame and Reaya will want to arrive in time for the funerals." Palpatine nodded his ascent."Of course Anakin. Is there anything mais you need, extra guards?"
"No thank-you chancellor. I've put my best men on the job."
"Then I will leave them to your most capable care." Bowing out, he clicked off the monitor. His brow furrowed, he hadn't foreseen the Lady Reaya surviving. It would have to be rectified. Except he'd already had the merk's find their own deadly ends, he'd have to see about puting out a contract to a very lovely lady.

Later that night Padame called in at Ahsoka's apartment. A clone answered, she was about to excuse herself from the viewer. When Ahsoka's image pushed the clone to the side."Its alright Sharp,take a walk." The clone folded his arms as if he'd was about to retort, but then just shook his head as he grabbed a robe, veste, roupão and headed for the door. Padame listened as Ahsoka prattled on, giving answer's where she could. Except there weren't that many to give."I'll give you a call back when I've given it mais thought."Ahsoka yawned as she nodded."I better let my overly worried roomy in. In fact he's right outside our door.Good night Padame." She clicked off with a laugh.

Reaya heard Padame on the view monitor with Skywalker's padawan. Reaya thanked the stars,her cousin was busy as she stared at her reflection in the nearby mirror. Tears quivered down her cheeks as her guilt bubbled up, she should've been there. Why had her father allowed her to stay. She could've been with them. Her father,her little brother Tyrin, and their hired help. That stayed with them,were now reduced to dust, without her. Joker tried to salute, but couldn't as the woman held him fast.Shrugging he clasped her closer."Take care of her trooper, she's all yours." Captain Rex said with a little concern. He should've placed a stationary guard at her door, he was slipping.
