Admission – part three of the link/link story group

She was scared … and it was obvious to everyone in the room when she stepped into the light, the overhead glow catching the sterling silver bracelet on her wrist. Along with the bracelet, a light caught the small beads on the corpete of her dress. Her silver heels clicked faintly on the cement walk, and she gave a nervous smile as her eyes searched the crowd.
“Lisa,” a voice made her jump slightly, and Lisa turned her head, her eyes connecting with the piercing blue eyes of her coworker. She gave a quiet laugh and took a step back, hoping that her and Hugh's closeness hadn't drawn attention of the paparazzi.
He took her elbow and steered her along the walk, hoping that his internal urge to hold Lisa closer wasn't too obvious to the hundreds, maybe thousands, of eyes. Wrapping his arm loosely around her waist, he pulled her slightly closer, scanning the crowd for any other cast members. “Nervous?” His voice was barely a whisper and he let his lips curve into a faint smile as Lisa gave a nod.
“You have every right to be nervous,” Hugh stopped outside a waiting limousine, keeping a hand in Lisa's as she slipped into the back seat. Sitting besides her, he gave Lisa's hand a warm squeeze and glanced over at her, his eyes candidly feasting on how well her dress accented her curves. Shifting slightly, he let his hand fall to the leather assento between them, his other hand resting on the pocket of his black slacks.
“And so are you,” Lisa's voice was also just barely a whisper as the limousine turned around the corner towards the location of FOX's after-party. She slid across the assento to lean against Hugh's side, and she slipped her hand into his, smiling faintly. “Don't be Hugh … you won, after so long, don't be nervous. Just enjoy the night, it'll be fun.”
“You're right,” Hugh gave a curt nod, and fiddled with the silver bracelet that Lisa had clasped on her wrist.
“So you're going to have fun?” Lisa cracked a smile, her eyes shinning, and she nearly tumbled into Hugh's lap as the cab whirled around a corner. She laughed, loud and long, her head still in Hugh's lap and she grinned widely; her eyes locked on Hugh's.
“Willyoumarryme?” The words tumbled from Hugh's lips and he immediately swallowed, adverting his eyes from Lisa's. He nearly ran from the car the minuto it stopped, leaving Lisa sitting in the seat, watching him.

Again, Hugh had to resist the thrill of Lisa's silver heels, and the faint smell of her shampoo, and he hung his head. The glass of whiskey in his hand was already half empty and his hand shook slightly as he turned to face his costar.
“You asked me something?” Lisa asked quietly, looking at him curiously, the hopefulness that was hidden in her voice slightly buried.
“No, I didn't.”
“The answer is yes.” Hugh's head shot up at Lisa's words, and the whiskey glass nearly slipped from his hands. “I will.”
“Lisa...” Hugh's voice hitched in his throat and he set aside the whiskey glass, just to make sure that he didn't drop it, “You know what this means, right?” He pulled her aside and stared into her eyes, just to ensure that he was listening. Swallowing, he let her smile weakly and he nodded slowly. “You want this?”
All Lisa has time to do was nod, before she found herself wrapped tightly in Hugh's arms. And this time, she didn't let him let go.

My ideas on why there has been no Hugh/Lisa interview together on this upcoming season. Remember, I'm only speculating, so yeah ... we know nothing for sure. *pout*

Well, so Hugh and Lisa are secretly together, and everyone (House crew wise) knows that because they have been told. They also know about the rumors about Huli happening, but they want to wait until Hugh and/or Lisa annouce it. Crew/cast know that people in the fandom want certain stuff (like a huddy interview or huddy pics) because it only influences the idea of Huli already together. So, they are trying to keep Hugh and Lisa apart at public events as much as possible, knowing even the littlest slip could reveal the relationship.
I honestly don't know...seems like a lot of work, but obviously they can manage a lot of "extra work" if GY is telling the truth about the whole 'beach scenes' being an act.
