“After Black renda, rendas, laço I took on Smokie and still manage them today. Smokie have a huge fã base all over the world and are a very busy band. The logistics of touring these days can be a nightmare with airport security as it is and I handle all that side of things. Three members of Smokie still live in West Yorkshire, one of them lives near Inverness and one lives in Spain, so we all tend to meet up at Amsterdam Airport and set off from there.

“One of Smokie’s most memorable concerts was when they performed for President Putin in Moscow on New Year’s Eve two years ago.They’re about to set off for four gigs in Germany and they regularly give about 120 to 130 shows a year.”
