Bart Allen is a superhuman teen who has the power of rapid acceleration. He will one dia grow up to be the superhero known as The Flash.
Years ago, Bart was in an accident with a bright flash of light, giving him the ability to mover at super-speed. He can run at amazingly high speeds, evidently faster than Clark. He can even run across water, a feat which Clark was incapable of at the time. Feeling like an outcast even at home, Bart ran away to live the life of a rua urchin. With his newfound power, he became a petty thief around Suicide Slums. Impulsive, irreverent, and unconcerned with laws or property, Bart financed an alternately homeless and extravagant lifestyle with stolen goods and credit cards. However he hates to sleep outside. "When I'm asleep, I'm just as slow as everyone else"
