Not Your Typical Country Girl Chapter Forty Four
"You have officially been caught up on everything that has been going on since Wednesday night." I said to Isaiah as sniffed.
"I'm really sorry about Midnight Moon, I can imagine how much you cared bout him!" He said sympathetic.
"It doesn't matter. He was just a horse." I mumbled lying.
He wasn't just a horse. Midnight Moon was my horse.
I ordered my comida and took a assento at one of the picnic tables.
"You don't have to act like that. It's okay to show grief over him." Isaiah said as he sat down across from me.
"I'm fine." I said.
"Okay. If you said so."...

Hometown Chapter Sixteen
Talli's POV
I headed to work after school. I did not get the chance to tell Tex yet. I was kind of embarrassed to tell him. I don't even know if Grandpa and Grandma know. Oh well, who cares if they don't.
I pulled up the hardware store. I walked in and threw my backpack behind the counter.
"Hey Grandpa," I said.
"Hey sweetheart, did ya have a good day?" He asked info smiling.
"Surfing was great this morning!" I smiled and then remember the wipeouts. "Well, except when I fell."
"It comes with the sport." He reminded me.
"I know. What first today?" I asked as I yawned.
"Hmm,...

I snuck out the front door at exactly 3. Luckily, Isaiah was already here. I had mention Lance I was going to a rodeo but I didn't tell anyone else. I knew Bryce would say no since I got into a fight with Finn. I wouldn't dare ask him. He would be super mad since girls aren't suppose to fight. But hey, I have 4 brothers, so it is going to happen some time or another.
I jumped in the truck and looked over at Isaiah, his mouth was wide open.
"Careful, a fly might get in there." I said laughing.
"What in the world happened to you?" he asked shocked.
"I got into argument with Finn this morning." I...

Hometown Chapter Fifteen
I had been working at the hardware store for a while now. I had finally saved up enough money to buy my own long board. I could not wait to get out of school and head to the surf shop. Luckily, Grandpa is pretty much allowing me to take his truck anywhere at any time.
I have an hora of school left and all I can focus on is what color board I want.
"Earth to Talli!" Tex said as he waved his hand in front of my face.
"What?" I asked as I jumped.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya!" He said. "But the sino rang. School is out for the day!"
"Yes!" I smiled happily.
"Do you wanna...

Clay's POV
Harmony had to know. She heard the gunfire. We had to put him down. He was horrible when we got to him. It was a big pack of coyotes.
How were we going to tell her? She's going to be devastated.
"This is what she gets for leaving a horse out," Lance grumbled, "now we have to deal with him!"
"Look she didn't know any better. We have to look at this like its her first time at everything around here," Dad said, "now go get a tarp and cover the horse up. I'll call someone about him. Then go change, so you can start working."
Dad was right. We...

Jasper and I left for school a dia early. I wasn't allowed to skip anymore days. They said I had skipped to much. I agreed with them; I had skipped a lot of school during this past year.
I was nervous about going back to school. I knew they would stare and talk about me. I would be the center of attention. There would probably be a load of gossip going around the school which didn't matter to me. Let then think what they wanted. I just hope people will leave me alone and let me be. Hopefully, no one will pry but I have a feeling Scotty will be the exception...

Hometown Chapter Seven
Last night's jantar with the grandparents ended roughly. Dad did not say a word to them for the rest of the night. I was kind of sad to see them go. It was nice talking them and getting know them again. But dad will eventually come around to them again or at least I hoped he would. Maybe, just maybe if I told him that I had gotten hearing aides again he would see that I really needed them. I did go out of my way to lie and skip school to get them.
The dia seemed to drag on. School was alright. Tex didn't really talk to me today. Maybe he was nervous about the game tonight....

Clay's POV
Ever since I woke up this morning my coração as been heavy. I haven't told Harmony exactly about the Navy. That I will have to leave. I just feel guilty about it. I had to do it. I could not wait till it was time to leave to tell her.
I walked into the celeiro and found her working.
"Hey can we talk," I asked.
"Sure thing, what's up," she asked as she leaned against a stall wall.
"You know when I told you I would be joining the Navy after high school, right," I said.
"Yeah," she shrugged.
"You know once I join, I'll have to leave for...

I don't care if it's our life, why can't we stay here? Lacey asked.
You know why, don't play stupid. Rose said.
Can I just have the new adress so I can go? She asked.
Yes honey, are you taking your car or motorcycle? Esme said.

Lacey zipped her jaqueta up and out the directions in her backpack.
Call us when you get there. I said.
I watched her put on her...

Clay's POV
The chores this morning were not too fun. I was exhausted and the dia was just now starting. Everyone was soaked to the bone and it was chilly for a summer morning. Maybe winter won't be so bad. But, you can never tell with this Alabama weather. One dia it can be hot as blazes and the seguinte will feel like the middle of fall.
I saw Harmony in the celeiro and she was working happily por herself. I guess she was enjoying being able to work again.

All the sudden I seen a big bolt of...

"Hey," I said excitingly, "thank you! Are you having fun?!"

Harmony's POV
We got our drinks and I took a few sips. I thought I heard someone mention my name.
"Did someone say my name," I asked Clay.
"I don't know," he said.
"I would amor get a piece of that," someone said to their friend.
"Hey, don't talk about my sister like that," Clay said demanding.
I did not really understand what he meant. Piece of what?
"Freedom of speech bud," he said as he shoved Clay backwards.

Harmony's POV
The seguinte morning I was still exhausted from everything that happened last night. I got up to stretch my sore muscles. I knew that I was going to be sore when Midnight Moon threw me off. I looked down at my legs which were cut up from those thorns that Midnight Moon just had to go through. I looked over at the clock and it said it was eight in the morning. Man, I had slept in a little late. But, not to late or Abigail or someone else would have woken me up before now.
I threw on some jeans since my legs were scratched up. There was no need...

We pulled up to the gigantic house and before Bryce could even cut the engine off he hit the horn several different times. I saw several boys coming to the front of the house.
"Are those all your sons," I asked shocked.
"Yes, all four of them," Abigail said proudly, "they are my pride and joy! Sorry, Harmony, we are the only girls."
"Oh okay," I said as I got out of the truck.
I took one step towards the cama of the truck and 3 medium size cachorros ran up to be barking.

"Good," I muttered....

I sat on the sofá while Embry and Billy went to the cozinha to talk. Of course I was in pain. Mentally and physically. I had to idea what they were really talking about. Every now and then I would hear on of the sigh in frustration.
"You are going to let Jacob get por with this," Embry yelled, "what kind of father are you?"
I could not hear Billy reply but I am sure it was something like 'just calm down; this is not that big of a deal'.

A weekend off from Jacob is just what I needed. I was so thankful for Embry letting me spend the weekend with him and his family. Embry had some explaining to do to his parents; but they thankfully understood.
Why was Embry being so nice to me? He had not been that nice to me since he joined Sam's gang. It was all so confusing. Usually, when people cadastrar-se Sam's gang they do not go back to their 'old' friends.
"Lila, may I come in," Embry asked as he knocked lightly on the door.
"Sure," I said as I sat up in bed.

Seth's POV
Riding to school on my dirt bike with Mattie's arms tightly wrapped around my waste was so familiar but yet so distant. It was odd riding to school. Mattie and I have not even been to school in a month. It was sort of odd going back. We were going back engaged too. This was going to shock people. Maybe even make them surprised. I was sort of excited about getting back to normal activities that did not involve learning or practicing to fight every day. Mattie was probably happy too. She would be mais nervous since she has missed so much football practice...
