cantar Pergunta

Does cantar louder help me to sing better?

People say that I can sing, but when I sing quietly to myself, it sounds broken, especially when I try to get to high notes. So does that mean I have to sing louder to get better?

Well, cantar louder would help! Its probably harder to hit notes when your cantar softly. But i'm not saying to scream because that's ridiculous. But to be better, sing more. I had a problem similar to that when I was in 6th grade. I'm going into 9th and I've done a a few solos. I've also been in Womens Chorus for 2 years. cantar louder is better. So remember practice singing. And maybe you cant hit high notes because thats not your octave. Instead of cantar soprano, try cantar alto! Very few people can do both or extend that range but try cantar songs on a lower note! Its worth a try! And if that's not it, you may be one of those people that have a very limited range. That's probably harder to deal with. If that's the case, I can not help you anymore because my range is very extend it. I can do Soprano 1(pretty high) to Alto 2(pretty low). So I hope I helped you with your situation!

Well, depending on your volume level BEFORE you get louder...
if you're really really quiet then yeah.
but if you're normal volume, it doesn't help at all, just makes you sing off-key, trust me i know.

Definately! But don't yell, part of cantar louder and better is the confidence you have. If you aren't confident, you'll suck. Also, you need to breathe properly. Usually, when people breathe they inflate their lungs and their shoulders go up. When you're cantar you need to breathe into your diaphragm, making your belly extend. Thus your voice will be stronger, louder, better, and you'll be able to hold a note longer, Plus, the high and low notes become much easier. Also, I know you didn't ask about this, but if you'd like to be able to hit notes better, and widen your octave scale, find a piano or keyboard. Start at middle C, then just press notes and try to hit them perfectly. Go higher or lower at your leisure. You'll find major improvement!

When I sing quietly, my voice sounds hoarse. Ecspecially on high notes. This is common so don't worry about. And about the main question, yes you probably will sound better if you sing louder and are confident.

Not exactly. Practicing to song, yes, it does make the high notes easier to hit, but it can also make it sound a bit awkward, and depending on the song and your vocal type it could just make it worse. In any case, don't try to sing as if you're yelling, but if you are working on hitting high notes don't sing too soft either. It's all about finding the perfect balance. For instance, you may just not have a high voice, and cantar loud to try and hit high notes would be pointless because it would just make it louder, not better, or maybe you just need to develop your voice, in which case, you should try every thing.

no! first of all, you have to have a ear for music, knowing when to change on your voice patterns. listen to a song, over, and over again, until you get sick of it. and other melodies, that will bring out your best voice vocals
