Short Stack are a three piece rock band from Budgewoi, New South Wales, Australia. The band consists of Shaun Diviney, the lead singer, guitarist and writer, Andy Clemmensen, the bassist and backing vocalist, and Bradie Webb, the drummer.

Short Stack formed in 2005 to enter Youth Rock, a competition for new bands[1]. While that ano they didn't pass the first round, the seguinte ano they came 3rd no geral, global in the state.

In 2007, to try and become closer to their fans, they started uploading episodes of "Short Stack TV" on Youtube, which follows their dia to dia lives. The first música video they released...

oi Andy, how are things?

Good.

Doesn't look like you guys have any shows until December, what do you plan on doing with your downtime?

At the moment we are just working on new songs and rehearsing for the shows coming up at the end of the year.

You released your debut album 'Stack Is The New Black' on August 14th and it debuted and number 1 on the Aria Charts. That must be a pretty good feeling. Did you ever expect anything like that to happen?

First of all who am I talking to and what part do you play in Short Stack?

You guys are one of Newcastles biggest up and comers what do you think the secret is in the success?

haha we are? well i spose it is stick to your guns, play what you like playing and put a lot of effort towards it and hopefully it will pay off :)

But with fame also comes a lot of jealousy, how do you guys react to the forms of hatred you recieve from the local bands and fans?

haha well i think everyone loves me so... nah...
