After a while, the cave transformed into a lab and they saw a big, fat man in a mustache on his computer. "Hmm, this 'Rainy Days' story is really good. I can't wait for the seguinte chapter!" he said. Jessy shouted "Dr. Eggman!" and startled Kodi AND Eggman. "You know this old dude?" "Yeah, he tried to tear down Sunset colina to build his empire-thingy." "She's correct," said Eggman, "and entering my lab is an impressive feat. Now let's see how good you really are, intruders!" Eggman sent out Metal Sonic. Kodi shot rapid fogo Chaos Spears at him, but the flying robot was quick. He dropped bombs and shot missles at Kodi, but he shot them down too. He used Bat Shriek and stunned the robot, then he went at him and kicked him in the head. The robot then pulled out a laser sword. He shot two blasts from his hand and slashed the sword to create a shockwave. The hits landed. Kodi ran back toward him, but he threw his sword and it spun like a saw. The hit landed, but this time Kodi dropped all the emeralds. "The Chaos Emeralds?!" Eggman said. He snatched them up. "Now my collection is complete and I can upgrade metal to his greatest form! Now I can kill that hedgehog!" Eggman and Metal left the lab. "NOOOOOOOO!" Kodi shouted. "Now I'll never know who I am..."
