Anyways me and my buddies have been debating this due to the fact there is a boy in my school who is 15 and already is convinced he's gay. I don't have anything against this but it just doesn't seem reasonable to decide your sexuality when your still virgin and that young.

The other week I came across this book entitled "Born This Way: Real Stories of Growing Up Gay." The individuals profiled all knew at a very early age that they were gay. They may not have had the right words to describe it, but they all knew they were "different", especially for those born before the 1970's.

I think at any age. Some people have just always known, some realize it in their teens, some don't until after experimenting, and some don't until later in life. It really just depends on the person.

@WaterHeart14, it's entirely possible for him to know. You don't have to have sex just to know your sexual orientation.

That's weird to put it in terms of "deciding". Why do we even have to label everything? People say they're gay, straight, bi, confused....I wish we could just like whoever we want to like, whether they're a boy or a girl, and not have to conform to any one group. People always want to stick you in a group of people, label you so they can think they've got you all figured out as a person. It annoys me.
