Why did you pick Laverne's death if you haven't seen it? She died in Season Six, Episode Fifteen IIRC.

I just loved this episode.

I loved the song at the end of the episode when Jill died...But when Laverne died, I let out a tear!!

Out of the ones listed, Ben's was the most moving because of the way Cox didn't realise he was gone until the end. That was a great episode.

However of all the deaths, the one(s) that really hit me hard were the three deaths in My Lunch, especially Dave, the kidney patient. The end scene where Dr Cox loses it, that's just some grade A acting from Jon C McGinley.

Who WOULDN'T pick Ben?? That is definitely the best episode of the series, hands down. That song "Winter" by Joshua Radin makes that scene at the end...wow just great television right there.

Guys come on!!! Remember when Jill Tracey died? with the rabies? and the depression? and like... then the heart transplants? and then Dr. Cox quitting?! COME ON JILL TRACEY AND THE EFFECTS OF HER DEATH HANDS DOWN!

aww man, it was really hard to pick ben over laverne, lavernes was so tragic, but bens was the most moving

Laverne! I miss her, her death was the most moving, and a stunning performance from Carla!! Mmmm Hmmmm

I found Ben's death the most sad, but Laverne's was much more moving. But the most moving deaths were in My Lunch, they juat happened after Jill Tracey. It's difficult to judge!

i think that jill tracy's death was not horribly sad, but it took place in such a sad episode!

Because of Jill, three people died.
Because of Jill, JD realized he should pay more attention to patients
Because of Jill, Dr. Cox went in a state of very deep depression

The question is who's death was most moving, people.
NOT had the most dramatic funeral that made you sad...

Ben's funeral is my favorite episode of scrubs.

Oh, ben...and we didn't even know he was dead until he disappeared and then we realised it had been so obvious after all but like Doctor Cox we were in denial! And he was such a sweet guy! And then Dr Cox and Jordan hugging and crying at the funeral!

Ben defently, because we didnt know until the end that he was dead and it was a shock.

Dr Cox was crying. He looked so sad, i was crying for ages!
Ben was such a cool guy and the way the episode played out so that Cox thought he was at his sons birthday, then JD says "Where do you think we are?" broke me heart!! D=
The music made it so much worst, just added to the saddness!

Laverne dying was the saddest, when Carla was talking to her I was crying.

Yeah even though Laverne died Shirley's the new nurse taking her place ;-)

I was crying when Ben died... I completely loved him, and Dr. Cox was so heartbroken.

I cried so much when Ben died. He was AWESOME. Definitely the best guest star. And the episode when he died was beautiful.

Good question. probely Ben because it showed how effected Perry was without us even knowing ben died till the end.

I almost had to flip a coin between the two, but Carla's speech won me over. It was so sad... Whenever I watch that episode I mouth it along with her and tear up a little...

The episode my Philosophy a woman (and the whole cast) sings "I'm waiting for my real life to begin" I get teary just thinking about the song.

I think in the context of the episode, Laverne's death was extremely moving and emotional.

Wow I can't believe Laverne isn't winning. I was much more attached to her because we saw her every episode. I cried when it happened.

and i have seen every single one

To be honest, I think most deaths in Scrubs are pretty moving.
However, the one that I think touched me the most was Ben's.
I especially liked the way the episode was carried out, and the Joshua Radin song at the end was just the most apt touch.

laverne was always there so yeah. Ben was only in a couple of episodes. Laverne is in mostly all of them

the old lady's death in My Old Lady way back was pretty moving for me as well..
Ben's death was such a shock though..
I loved the way they did that ep... so amazing.

Ben's was sad and unexpected, but Laverne was more of a slow buildup, with everybody saying goodbye and coming to terms with it. Mrs. Wilk comes in a close third.

It was dealt with really well, because they didn't just go like 'Ben's dead', they made it seem someone else died, and I loved it that Perry could still see Ben followning him :[
