Hello fellow Saiunkoku fans!
As some people know, the series is made up of 3 components - the anime, the manga, and the light novels. The animê and the mangá have been subtitled/translated to English por some fãs online, but the light novels have been basically ignored. Some fãs have translated sections to English, but for the most part English translations haven't been done as much.
I've set up a support group for fãs on facebook who would like to see the light novels formally translated and published in English por a North American mangá company. As I said, parts of the novels have been translated to English por fans, and they've also been translated to Chinese as well. But for people like myself who can't read either language (or at least not enough to read a novel), it doesn't do us any good.
Anyways, if anyone has a facebook account and is interested in joining the group, here is the link: link
There's also an online petition linked in the group's discussion board, and I'm encouraging group members to take a moment and sign it. The idea is once there's enough signatures on the petition, we can take the petition to a North American mangá company and ask them to consider translating the novels. You can view the petition in the group, or visit it here: link
If you know anyone who would be interested in joining the group, or would help spread the links, please feel free to pass them on. :D We want to get as many people to cadastrar-se as possible.
Thank you for your time! <3
