One day, when he was guarding the Fearlings (his former name was Kozmotis before he became Pitch), the Fearlings tricked Kozmotis into thinking his daughter was locked in there with the Fearlings. He opened the door, expecting his daughter there, and the Fearlings attacked him and turned him into Pitch. So that's why he's my favorite. posted over a year ago.
