Hello, everyone! I've been meaning to write this for a while. Antonia actually gave me the idea on how I got my Malamute puppy, Layla, so here it goes.
I wanted to get another dog to be a companion for my English Setter, Theo. mais than anything, I missed having mais than one furry friend. I once had a gerbil named Peanut, but he died after a ano or so. I wanted something that lived longer than a pocket pet, so I decided, "Why not get another dog?" I started looking at different breeds.
I initially thought about getting a Canaan Dog, but I couldn't find any breeders anywhere in the United States. I later looked into the Maltese, but it has really extensive grooming needs. I then looked into the Alaskan Malamute, and I fell in amor with the breed.
After looking into the the Malamute, I decided to find a Malamute rescue. I found one in Tennessee, and that's where I met Layla. She was born October 12, 2017 to a terrible breeder. The cachorros were kept outside with no shelter at all. They were in the mud, too. The only bright side is all the cachorros were healthy. The breeding wasn't intentional, (apparently), and the woman who found Layla and named her said that if she had the money, she would have taken all the cachorros with her, but they're all in happy homes now.
Layla gets along well with Theo. She's a red and white Malamute, por the way. I have socialized her with people and other dogs, and she's so friendly. I amor Theo, but she's the best dog I ever had. If I was going to get another dog, I'd definitely get another Malamute.
So, there you have it. That's the story of my dog, Layla. Feel free to leave a comment.
Peace and love,
Lenny
