Hiyori was a little blah at first but she redeemed herself before long. Natsu is overpowered and just like dozens of other shounen heroes. Eren got in the same fights every five minutes with half the cast, which was one of the main reasons I dropped AoT, but nobody is worse than Mikasa. Eren has redeeming qualities at least, so that's good.
