14 Pretty Little Liars fã Theories That Will Keep You Up Tonight

is officially underway, and fans are freaking out. This is

, friends. After these 10 episodes, there will be no more shirtless Toby makeout scenes, no more Hanna one-liners—and no more fan theories.

Fan theories have become a very important part of the

army uses the gaps between seasons to hypothesize future storylines, romances, and villains. Right now the biggest mystery is unmasking Uber A, but there are other questions

needs to answer before the final season ends. Does Toby live? Who is the father of Alison's baby? Do Aria and Ezra get married? Who the hell is making those eerily lifelike face masks?!

Hundreds of fan theories exist right now that cover these questions and more. We scoured the Internet for the craziest ones that are still possible given everything that's happened. These 14 are the winners, and—wow—they're all certifiably batshit.

fan, I find it highly unlikely that one of the five liars is Uber A. But I'm alone on this ship: Every liar has a convincing fan theory on the Internet that positions her as the Big Bad. Even Emily.

this is true, the liar with the most evidence stacked against her is Spencer Hastings—as this very detailed Tumblr theory points out. Red flags went off for fans in season three when Spencer said the lead female character in

was a "genius" for writing a novel to cover up her murder. (After Charlotte is murdered, Spencer reveals the way it happened is similar to a scenario she wrote in a college essay. Coincidence? Hell no. There are no coincidences in Rosewood.) The theory also notes the strange costume Spencer donned one year for Halloween: Mary Queen of Scots, the woman who conspired to assassinate Queen Elizabeth I. And then there's Spencer's Radley connection: All of the previous A's have ties to the mental institution, and she's the only liar who spent time there as a patient.

Toby dies, and his organs are used to save Spencer's life.

If you remember from season 7A's explosive finale, Spencer is rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound, and Toby gets involved in a gnarly car accident that leaves him unconscious. This theory suggests that Toby, tragically, dies from that accident, but his organs are used to save Spencer's life. (This is also contingent on Spencer suffering from a physical ailment that

Toby's exact organs can help fix.) It sounds far-fetched, but remember this show set Aria on fire. Anything is possible.

I know what you're thinking: Alison is Charlotte's sister, and she was the most heartbroken after her murder. But what if Alison's crocodile tears were just an act to mask the truth:

killed Charlotte? This Tumblr post outlines a pretty convincing case for this, and the main evidence is Alison's personality. At one point Ali was a classic mean girl and master manipulator who fat-shamed her friends. Yes, it seems she's turned over a new leaf, but those puppeteering skills are still in her somewhere. You could argue that Charlotte is the reason why Alison had to disappear, which would give her motive.

army thinks the now-deceased Detective Wilden is Hanna's biological father. The support for this theory is thin at best, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. This fan first points to Wilden's treatment of Hanna versus the other girls: He was noticeably less rude and aggressive toward her. Is that because he has a soft (and biological) spot for her? There's also A.D.'s particularly strong vendetta against Alison to consider. It's been assumed for seasons that Wilden was a part of the A gang. So it's possible that Wilden resented the hell Alison put Hanna through in her teenage years and got his revenge as A. Finally, Grunwald told Hanna that the threat against her is "very close." Fans originally thought this meant proximity because Noel Kahn was right behind Hanna as Grunwald said this. But what if "close" means something else entirely—like family?

We posted about this theory months ago, but it still holds water. In the season 7A finale, we found out that Alison is pregnant. She claims that Archer (her dead ex-husband) is the father, but what if something else is at play? Remember when Emily harvested her eggs earlier that season? Well, some fans think those eggs (which were stolen) somehow got implanted into Ali. We'll let this one marinate for a second.

points out that Caleb's family history is ambiguous, so the

writers have the opportunity to weave him into the DiLaurentis/Drake/Hastings web. Caleb also has the computer skills to pull off the techno trickery A has been doing for years. Plus, he's the only

guy who hasn't been accused of being A. Has he been flying under the radar this entire time?!

Hanna had two dreams on the show in earlier seasons where she was told things she shouldn't have known. When she was kidnapped, for example, Spencer came to her in a dream and told her how to escape A.D. But here's the problem: The liars only learned about A.D.

Hanna was taken, so how did her subconscious know that name? Hanna also dreamt that Alison told her a story about Noel Kahn pushing someone down the stairs. When she mentioned this the next day to her friends, Alison's expression suggested the story was true. Naturally, these dreams have several fans certain that Hanna is clairvoyant. Truthfully, I'm here for this. Hanna has always been magical, so it's only fitting that she's some kind of psychic.

Emily/Maya 'shippers will love this theory, which has some merit. The

fan who wrote this one points out that we never actually saw Maya's dead body—just a body bag. Also, Nate/Lyndon James (Maya's alleged killer) never confessed to the crime, so we have no

confirmation that she's dead. Alison's fake death and Maya's supposedly "real" death go down in eerily similar ways, too: body bags, police cars—even the music is the same in both scenes. Could, Maya's death, like Alison's, be staged?

One of the first lies the girls have to cover up in the series is what they did to Jenna. (If you forgot, Alison threw a firework over Jenna's fence, which ultimately blinded her.) The girls claim this was just a harmless prank gone too far, but what if this isn't the whole story? A Reddit user named mizkelton16 is convinced that blinding Jenna wasn't an accident. It's obvious that Alison was receiving texts from A long before the other girls, so mizkelton16 alleges that hurting Jenna was one of the villain's first demands. This could explain why Alison disappeared too: Maybe she got too scared of A's power and ran off?

Could Ashley Marin be the brains behind this entire twisted operation? It's a devastating thought—Hanna is her daughter—but it's plausible. This video neatly outlines all of the indicators that Ashley is the Big Bad. One obvious clue is her first initial: A. Plus, the "Ashley is Uber A" theory fits into Grunwald's prediction that the liars' main threat is close to Hanna. Ashley also has a vested interest in Radley (she turned the hospital into a hotel), and we know from past A's that Radley is a big part of the game. This would honestly bring new meaning to the term "Mommie Dearest."

Eliza, the Amish girl, is Alison and Wilden's child.

Here's another theory that's highly improbable but so, so juicy. In the seventh season, we were introduced to a little Amish girl named Eliza, who for some reason owns dolls made in the likeness of the liars. This could be a strange coincidence, but this Reddit user thinks Eliza is the daughter of one of the liars—specfically Alison. Her reasoning? Alison is a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn movies, which we realized on two occasions: The first was when Ezra referred to Alison as his Holly Golightly. The second was a little more sinister: The episode where Alison was wrongfully found guilty of Mona's murder is titled "I'm a Good Girl, I Am," which is a hat tip to Hepburn's film

Doolittle. Also, Eliza's assumed age range matches the time between Alison's disappearance and return. Did Ali run away because she was pregnant? Ehhh,

At one point everyone thought Aria was Uber A, but now fans are a little more skeptical. Nevertheless, it's a valid theory. This video highlights the fact that Mary Drake could be Aria's mother, which would make her initials A.D. Plus, A.D.

stole Aria and Noel's files from Jessica's basement; Noel is a confirmed member of the A gang, so does this mean Aria is involved too? There's also a hypothesis floating around that Aria's father is her Uncle Scott, who has mental health issues and spent time in Radley (again, the Radley connection is key). Plus, Aria's handwriting matches A's and she owns, like, a thousand phones. Owning 12,000 iPhones is a total Uber A move.

Bethany Young is also Mary Drake's daughter.

After fans learned that Spencer is Mary Drake's biological daughter, they started speculating about her other possible children. The most popular theory is that Bethany Young (the girl whose dead body was incorrectly identified as Alison's) is also Mary's daughter. The proof? Alison and Bethany's uncanny resemblance caused police officers to mix them up. Is that because they're cousins and share DNA? Also, Jessica DiLaurentis (Mary's sister) insisted that Bethany call her Aunt Jessie. Was this just a term of endearment—or was Jessica actually Bethany's aunt?

creator I. Marlene King is fans' biggest fuel for this truly nuts theory: "Uber A is the smartest of all the A's, the most intense of all the A's, the most driven to win the game of all the A's. And I can’t tell you if you’ve seen the person before or not because that might spoil something a little bit later down the line." Who is smarter than Spencer Hastings? Answer: Spencer Hastings' twin who somehow managed to hide in plain sight this entire time—obviously.
