sleep

hear your heartbeat
beat a frantic pace
and it's not even seven am
you're feeling the rush of anguish settlin’
you cannot help showin’ them in
so hurry up then
or you'll fall behind and
they will take control of you
and you need to heal the hurt behind your eyes
fickle words crowdin’ your mind

so
sleep, sugar, let your dreams flood in
like waves of sweet fire, you're seguro within
sleep, sweetie, let your floods come rushin’ in
and carry you over to a new mornin’

try as you might
you try to give it up
seems to be holdin’ on fast
its hand in your hand
a shadow over you
a beggar...

Ye, Lord let the fragrance of flowers
Mix in blowing breeze
Make the shade of trees even resfriador, refrigerador
To give traveler much mais peace
Let the trees go even wider and taller
To save the earth from burning heat
Make the smell of soil so sweet
That the countrymen live to die for their country
Let the sun shine even brightly
To make milho fields look like gold
Lord make the sky even wider
To save us from every harm
Let the moonlight spread around

when did i see anjos cry
i saw an angel cry when
a poor man asked for help
but was denied

I saw an angel cry
when a apaixonados coração
was broken
and devoured por despair

i saw an angel cry
when two best friends
had a fight, said unnecessary words
and didn't talk for a couple of weeks

a husband and a wife kept secrets

thinking no one will know, no one will get hurt

I give you these verses so that if my name,
A vessel favored por a strong north wind,
Fortunately reaches the distant future's shore,
And some night sets the minds of men to dreaming,

Your memory, like fables shrouded in the past,
Will weary the reader like a dulcimer,
And por a mystical, brotherly bond
Remain suspended from my haughty verse;

Accurst being to whom, from the deep abysm
To the highest heaven, nothing responds, save me!
