Help me please!!!

Ok I need some help.I amor coloring with coloring pencils but it makes me mad because it all looks like broken up I guess you can say.How do I make my as cores look mais solid without pressing down hard or the pencil??

Okay thank you...and i hold my pencil diagonally as well but it still seems to be broken up=/
