It was August. Leila and Greeley had just started back at their college. After their classes, they met at Greeley's house to do their homework together. After they finished their homework, they played their instruments together. Leila played her guitar, and Greeley played his bass. After a moment, Leila said, "Greeley, I feel like our little band is missing something." He said, "Yes, it's missing a name. The first thing a band needs is a name." She said, "No, the first thing a band needs is members. You can't exactly call two people a band." He said, "There was Simon and Garfunkel." She said, "They were a duo, not a band. Besides, we don't have a baterista or a lead guitarist." Greeley asked, "Couldn't you be the lead guitarist?" Leila said, "Greeley, I can't play lead guitar. I tried, and it doesn't work for me. I've always played rhythm guitar." He said, "We are música majors. We could ask some people from our class." She said, "Great idea!" He then said, "We still need a name for our band." She said, "We'll discuss names later, Greeley. We need to make sure all members can agree on the band names."
Some time passed, and Leah and Shaun were virtually inseparable. Leah and Emily were still close friends. Emily later met a better guy named Bradley. This time, Leah didn't have feelings for the guy who chose Emily. Leah remained fond of Shaun. Shaun was really fond of Leah and valued Emily as a close friend. Even when they graduated high school, the friends were still together. It seemed that nothing could tear them apart. Leah never forgot what Shaun told her about not throwing away a perfectly good friendship over romance.
