the whole "best friend gig" isn't original and very ordinary... so i figured it would be very possible for them to steel into that direction...
but, they had the whole fling with peyton going on. so i actually began to think that mabye there would be a haley/peyton/luke love triangle... lol.
but, haley is way more spunky for that

I'll admit it when the pilot happened I wasn't sure what direction they were taking in and I when Haley references "a whole Joey loves Dawson scenerio." I thought that is exactly what they would do. The show was being hyped as the next "Dawson's Creek" and totally thought it would follow in suit.
