This is my view on why I feel that Brooke gets overlooked most of the time. This is just my view opinions are welcome just no calling names or bashing my view. Try and go easy on me since this is my first artigo .I am a huge Brooke fã and I feel like that sometimes that they forget that she exists and it is about everybody else. I know Brooke wasn't in the Pilot and because that she really isn't a true main character and what not but that is not true.

A couple of examples of this come from season four after she broke up with Lucas everybody completely forgot she excited. really the only time she was doing things on screen it seemed contradictory to her Character. I mean once Brooke and Peyton ended their friendship people seemed to forget her. Then they introduced new characters for her and it took her farther away from the core five. Then in season five, the BH friendship was NON existent, they once again had ANOTHER new guy for Brooke, and not one of her friends besides Lucas has even checked on her since she gave Angie back.

I just feel like Brooke is always taken for granted, which annoys me to no end, since when it comes to her friends she is the most selfless, and loyal to them. Brooke is a very giving person but when she is in the time of need her friends with a few exceptions seem to forget her.

sarabeara I agree. I freaking love Brooke! Sometimes I feel like she's not there or isn't given as good storylines as the other charcters, but in the end, I'll always find her unforgettable. Cool article btw :]

abs07 I disagree, but I see where you're coming from. When brooke dumped luke in 401, Hales still hung out with her from time to time. Remember when Hales ragged on luke for kissing peyton again after brooke told her? and when hales railed on luke for cheating on brooke? I think brooke's gotten interesting storylines (new friendship with rachel; foster/baby storyline/now being attacked)...i've come to like her character [b]more[/b] because of how mark's shown her growth throughout the seasons. that's gotta mean something. No one seemed to mind when Peyton was alone a lot in s2 crying her eyes out. Now that was annoying to watch. but it showed her growth anyhow, so...anyway, this isn't about peyton, sorry... again, I see where you're coming from, but brooke doesn't have to have multiple scenes with the main five to make her storylines important. she still has a substantial effect on most of the characters on the show (especially those in the main five).

dermer4ever I see your point and i agree on the Peyton point but I had a problem with everything that she went through but you made good points.

alwysNforeverr to me brooke is a main character wether she is in the pilot or not. i absolutely love her and she is my second favorite character but i dont feel that she is forgotten. sometimes she may not have as many scenes as everyone else but the ones she does have are so meaningful. and lately i have loved the storylines she has gotten i.e angie, being there for peyton in an amazing way, beating (which makes me feel so bad for her, but i think it will be a great storyline and it will let others help her for once). but i really do wish she finds someone because she really deserves someone

Broody_4_Cheery half agree half disagree. i dont feel like she is oevrlooked with storylines, she always imo has an interesting one going on, and i cant wait to see where her character will go this season, sophia bush is an amazing actress and i feel like the show gives her the opportunity to show that and to have a wide range of emotions, but at the same time i sorta agree, i mean i didnt even think about it until you wrote it but she does seem to be pulled away from the core five a lot and used with the others only when it benefits the them. like whatever happened to the baley friendship that was developed in s3, it died down a bit s4 but still was strong and then bang s5 and all it seems to me between haley and brooke is that brookes the convenient babysitter, and i did think back in s4 that brooke was taken away from naley, peyton and lucas a lot and was instead teamed up with rachel, and as much as i love brachel i wasnt happy about how the group was split up so much in that season.

raychiebabe I was looking over some DVD extras, and they were speaking about how Brooke wasn't in the Pilot episode, this is because they made the episode and realised that something was missing...cue Brooke. Sometimes brooke holds everyone together with her compassion, humor, and love for her friends, she know when to be serious and when to be a goof. i think that for all of these reasons brooke is definently a main character. i think the show wouldn't work as well with out someone like her character, and Sophia Bush does an excellent job no matter what circumstances Mark puts her in.
