In news that won’t come as a shock to non-readers of NME, One Direction have been nominated for Worst Album AND Worst Band in their 2012 Awards.
The NME is famously pompous with its musical merits over the years, and anterior winners of the worst album award include Robbie Williams (twice), Jonas Brothers (twice), and even James Blunt, but you’ll be surprised (or maybe not) to find out that coldplay are also up for the worst album award this year. "I'm so sorry, my mind was somewhere else so I didn't see you coming." A boy's voice said. You looked up to see your crush, Harry Styles also picking up his books. You felt your annoyance going away as you said, "Um..never mind. My mind was somewhere else too. Sorry."
