This is a well-known quote from Once Upon A Time, first uttered por Rumplestilskin in the season 1 episode The Price Of Gold. When I first heard it, I assumed that he was saying this simply to manipulate cinderela and to justify killing her fairy-godmother. I was surprised to hear other characters, and fãs in this club, later repeating it as if it were gospel.

I've looked at different forms of magic within Once Upon A Time, trying to determine their price. For some, the price is clear. For others, I can only identify limitations rather than a price, or the price...

Got board decided to write a little fanfiction. I did post this on fanfic.net too so if you see it there, just know it wasn't stolen from me nor did I steal it from someone else.
This fanfic takes place sometime after Regina, Emma, and the others arrive in Neverland. It starts out after they managed to locate Peter Pan.
