Yes, yes, BAMF, but consider that she just blurts out aleatório maçã, apple trivia to both Emma and Snow White at times when she’s the middle of threatening them. (Or, in Emma’s case, both threatening her and hitting on her.)
"Did you know that the honeycrisp maçã, apple árvore is the most vigorous and hardiest of all maçã, apple trees? It can survive in temperatures of up to 40 below and keep growing."
"Did you know that apples stand for health and wisdom?"
I know that, when she was saying that stuff, it was meant to be alternately symbolic and ironic, but the fact she knew this at all, and knew it well enough to be able to spout it at a moment’s notice (unless she rehearsed the speech in her head or something, which I wouldn’t put past her), means that she has a deep and broad (obsession with) knowledge of apples that she’s been deliberately cultivating for a long-ass time.
"Oh my God. Regina, you’re a NERD!"
"Don’t be ridiculous."
"You are! You’re a huge nerd!"
"Miss Swan, please. Just because I actually read a book or two does not mean I’m a geek."
"Nerd."
"Same difference."
"How many bones are in a horse’s skeleton?"
"It varies, but on average 205. Why?"
"Ha! See? Nerd!"
"Emma, I’ve been riding and studying cavalos my whole life."
"Exactly!"
"It doesn’t mean anything."
"Sure. Nerd."
