can someone help me figure this out?

in the anterior episode, was the picture of the mad hatter the thing that made emma possibly start to believe since he looked a lot like jefferson? i never really fully figured that out.

Personally, I think that what 'the mad hatter' told her, got planted deep wit in her mind. And her eyes were somewhat opened at the similarities between the book and Storybrooke.

I'm not entirely sure about it, though. Hopefully we will find out mais in the seguinte episode.
