SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Operation Rainfall, a fã based group campaigning for the international localization of critically acclaimed nintendo titles, is proud to announce the exciting finale to Phase Three of their initiative to see the Nintendo-published Wii titles Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Pandora’s Tower in America.

The conclusion to Phase Three coincides with the North American launch of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and will involve a coordinated effort to send, en masse, a translated letter to nintendo Co., Ltd., Japan, both physically and electronically, in support of the titles in question. Operation Rainfall will also be running a campaign recommending Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Pandora’s Tower to fãs and gamers everywhere who enjoy their time with Skyward Sword. The campaign begins on Monday, November 21, with both physical and electronic mail being sent during the week of November 21-26. The campaign is expected to last approximately two weeks.

When asked if gamers can expect future content on the Wii console after The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Reggie Fils-Aime, President & COO of nintendo of America (a fully owned subsidiary of nintendo Co., Ltd., Japan) recently stated:
“There certainly will be mais games launched for the Wii. And what I can say is that we believe there are still millions mais systems to be sold. And I can say that the Wii will coexist side por side beside the Wii U for some period of time.”1
He additionally stated:
“More good games. Many people ask me if ‘Zelda: Skyward Sword’ is the last great game for the Wii and the answer is no. Let’s talk about upcoming games for Wii in late December or early January.”2

Hopes are bright that nintendo will recognize what many fãs have been clamoring for and an announcement will be coming por the end of 2011 or early 2012.

This mission will mark the conclusion to Phase Three, aiming to prove to nintendo the loyalty and dedication of its fã base. This does not, however, spell the end for Operation Rainfall. Marko Mac, the lead administrator of the grassroots movement, had this to say:
“Nintendo of America could announce these titles at any time; they don’t need a special media event to make an announcement. This campaign will be in effect as long as necessary to garner a response from Nintendo, whether in our favor or not, as all we seek is a response. However, if the titles are not announced for release with the launch of the Wii U seguinte year, we will shift our focus and recommend they release the games as either downloadable or retail titles on Wii U… There are many amazing games that have not made the trip overseas for various reasons… Once we are successful in bringing these three titles to America, we will discuss bringing in additional titles.”3

Xenoblade Chronicles, to encontro, data the only título of the Operation Rainfall campaign to have received an official western localization in Europe, currently holds a score of 92/100 on the review aggregate site Metacritic, placing it as one of the highest rated games on the Wii console. The Last Story has received critical and commercial acclaim in Japão and has been officially announced for a 2012 release in europa alongside Pandora’s Tower.

However, nintendo have now introduced the Mii Contest Channel. This channel may be downloaded under your Wii comprar Channel and then under Software.

Themed Mii contests regularly run on there, and the results are usually quite fun, as well as the general designing of Miis.

So, now through the wonders of Fanpop, we are going to have our own contest.
