Alive & Breathing. Part 2
Nikki clung onto Kellan's jacket. Filming would be done in just a few minutes. She pressed her lips against the small coffee Kristen had gotten her.
"So.." Ashley sat seguinte to Nikki.
Nikki cocked an eyebrow and gave her peppy friend a look. "So.. What?"
Ashley rolled her eyes and motioned to the Jacket. Nikki sighed and looked down.
"Its nothing, Ash," Another blow of air caused her to shudder. "He's just letting me borrow it."
Ashley scoffed,"Hardly, sweety. I've seen the way he looks at you, Nikki. He's into you!"
All Nikki could do was reject the fact in her head. Why would Kellan like her?She was ordinary.
"Just drop it okay?" Nikki pleaded. Ashley caved and started up a new topic.
"Tomorrow's your birthday isn't?"
Nikki cursed under her breath. Truthfully, she wasn't into having parties or anything. She just didn't like people making a big fuss over one day. She was just getting older.
"Uhm.. No?" Nikki coughed. Ashley knew she was lying but went along with it anyway. Because tomorrow she was throwing a suprise party. No matter how much Nikki would kill her for it.
"Oh. Okay. Well.. We should head out." Nikki nodded and began to get ready; When she dropped a small slab of paper on the ground.
Ashley snatched it and saw a little girl. She had black curls, Piercing Blue eyes, and a skin tone that could be paper.
"Um, Nikki...?," Ashley looked at Nikki. "Who's this?"
Nikki's eyes buldged out of her head. The truth was, Nikki is a mother to a child. She had her father's attributes more, sadly. No one could find out. Not even Ashley.
"Thats my neice." Nikki replied and grabbed the picture out of Ashley's manicured hand. Nikki stalked off and slipped into her BMW. She stepped onto the gas and sped off.
Nikki still couldn't believe it herself. She was mothering a child she had to hide from the world. Her name was, Max. Her father named her. That's the only thing he did for Nikki and their daughter. Name her. Nikki pulled into the Pre-school parking lot and waited patiently for Max to skip out.
Nikki sighed and rested her head back. She was only 17. She thought, Henry loved her. But, he only wanted her for one thing that horrified her. Still, Nikki was glad Max had been born. She brings light to Nikki's day.
"Mommy!" The bright young girl bounced over to the car and jumped in; Embracing her mother.
