So Niall, we caught you at the Dublin auditions (being cheeky to Katy Perry) going solo but you ended up in a boy band. Do you think that's the best thing that could happen to you? NIALL:It was incrível the five of us being put together, especially because it was por Simon. Simon realised that he liked me as a person so he put me into the band and has really backed us ever since, he's a great guy. I JUST amor BEING IN ONE DIRECTION!!! kiss readers have gone absolutely mad for you guys- it's like having five Justin Biebers in one band! You must be loving all the attention. NIALL:Yeah, we all amor it!!! There like 200 girls at the studio waiting outside the gate every dia and all they wanted is a glimpse of us;they go crazy when they see us! It's pretty hectic, but we amor it. Especially me being from Mullingar,I didn't get that too much [laughs].I went an all lads school and I never even saw too many girls during the day. Now that we live this life, it's amazing to have girls screaming and getting mobbed!!!! You and the other lads must have become very tight now, right? NIALL: Oh yeah, we have some laugh together. We all shared a room in the house,and we had the best craic ever! But we weren't just five teens having a laugh,we still put in as much work as the other artists n our show. We wanted to win, so we put in the same work as everyone else, maybe more. What is it like having Simon Cowell as your mentor? NIALL:Some people have the wrong idea of Simon but he was a very, very good mentor. He was always giving us and seeing how we were.He was always on the phone to us and if he had any problems with our songs, he'd tell us. It's been a pretty wild few months for you and the rest of the band. Where do you hope One Direction will be this time seguinte year?? NIALL: Hopefully we'll be playing The 02 in Dublin!!!!!!!
