These are my topo, início three bands I think sound like MCR.This is my opinion.Don't like,then suck.really it's hard to compare them to anything because their a pretty unique sounding band. they take influence from the misfits which is a pretty old horror punk band but I'd be completely wrong to compare the two. But if you want to give a listen to a band that inspires them a lot and is slightly an old school version of them, that's always an option.
Aiden
With a very dark sound,pancake make up,and saving kids lives,Aiden is most simliar to MCR.Formed in the spring of 2003 and being inspired por MCR.Lead singer wiL Francis is also a lot like Gerard Way.Both struggled with alcoholism,both married to a Lindsey,both infleunced por The Misfits and Morrissey,and both had cheating whores as girlfriends.Both bands,also have their songs used in a lot of movies.And both bands have a thing for vampires.
Escape the Fate
Aside from the screaming vocals,Escape the Fate sings to similiar things MCR does/would.Guitar rifts and drums sound simliar and both have very dark sounding music.Both bands also struggled with musical changes.Formed in 2004.
I Am Ghost
Very much like MCR during their Bullet days.Formed in 2004.Both having a gótico rock and emo feel about apaixonados killing each other.Both also obsessed with vampires.
