I just read this article: link
It’s about the illegal download of vídeos and particularly música from youtube. Meanwhile, there are many programs available which make it pretty easy to do so and which can be downloaded for free on the Internet. I myself got FreeYoutubeToMp3Converter (which got also mentioned in the article.
I wanted to post a comment to the article, but therefore I would have needed an account. I still wanted to tell my point of view and so I write it here:
“This whole thing is driving ME crazy. I amor música – but not of only one band. I have like…500 fav songs and they’re all from different artists! I don’t have the money to buy these songs as download on downloads.de or something. 1 € for one song? And with 500 ???
Shall the alternative be: “Just pick 5 favorito songs and just listen to THOSE on your mp3 then”??? If I was an actual fã of a band and would only listen to THEIR songs, then that would be ok. Then I would always buy the newest album or something – but that just isn’t the case!
But on the other hand, there’s always the guilty conscience! And with the excuse “Everybody does it” I don’t want to be pleased. “Everybody did” dance to Adolf Hitler’s tune back then – but does that mean it was right what they were doing, huh??? (sorry that it had to be just THAT comparison right now – I couldn’t come up with anything else right now). But that is what this often-used argument is: An excuse.
But then you stand between the chairs again: Just leave it – or guilty conscience???
On top, my parents make me frightened with their reports about documentaries they saw, heard or read. That the police nowadays can track down any trace of you in the Internet – and suddenly stand infront of your door because of your illegal música downloads – and want 1000 $ from you >_<
But, damn it: I don’t want to burn a CD and make money with it! I just want to listen to music! DX
Uncomfortable voice in the back of my head: But you steel the songs from the artists and the bands need the money (not everbody is Lady Gaga).
Me: DXXXXXX
So leave it. ._.
- No: Guilty conscience. -_-
But can somebody explain that to me with the Chinese Titles? O_o (In the artigo they said that google had put up a contract with the makers of those downloading-programms. According to that, user of those CAN download music, but as soon they put the files on a mp3 player or another portable music-playing devise, the titles are written in Chinese.) Does that mean now, as long as I don’t have anything against Chinese titles on the display of my mp3, everything’s allright? *looks hopefully up* As if I had to read the titles to know the song – short playing it from the start does it too XD
But seriously again: I am really afraid to be brought to justice one dia por the police (which seem to have own offices for this direction of “Internet-crime” now) because of music-downloads T_T
“
Well….that was my point of view. Tell me YOUR opinion in the comments, please.
por the way: This is about the situation in Germany. I don’t know how it is going in the USA or other countries – feel free to tell me about it. ._.

Walking down the pathway
Running towards the door,
its closed now----,
Listen to the Voices ,Calling to be heard agian,
Agian.
Pathway made of stone,
River full of Blood,
The Royal Throne,made of bone
Forest Full of darkness,
And above be the Starless----
Night!
(softer)
Can you hear the echoe ,of your footsteps on the Stone?
Can you hear the splatter,of your blood upon the Throne?
Can you hear the clash,of steel apon steel, can you haer the warcrys,of those on the battlefield?
Can you feel the darkness ,at the Edge of-_---_- Dawn---??
