Do you think Hollywood should revert back to the studio contract method of employing actors ( i.e committed to one studio for a set number of years to make a set number of movies)?

I would actually like it if Hollywood did go back to this method as I think it would go some way to reeling in the egos of actors. Nowadays, it seems that the atuação comes segundo to the whole celebrity lifestyle of Hollywood. However, if actors were contracted to a particular studio for a set period it may give them mais incentive to actually prove their worth and how talented they really are. Having a fixed salary with no room for negotiation might also bring them down to earth somewhat.

Most actors from the earlier Hollywood era seemed to genuinely amor and care about their work with the fame aspect simply being a byproduct of the craft that they loved. It's a shame that Hollywood has devolved to a point where fame becomes the goal instead of forging a legitimate atuação career that you are committed to.

Anyway, it was just a thought that I wanted to put out there and I'm sure people will respond with long lists of actors who are not fame-hungry and who do amor their work. However, I still stand por the belief that for the majority of Hollywood actors, fame is still of the highest importance.
