FEBRUARY 8--As prosecutors today announced manslaughter charges against Michael Jackson's former doctor, the Los Angeles medical examiner simultaneously released its final denunciar on the singer's June 2009 death. The 51-page coroner's report, key excerpts of which you'll find here, concluded that the powerful anesthetic propofol caused the 50-year-old Jackson's demise.
The L.A. District Attorney's Office charged today that Dr. Conrad Murray "did unlawfully, and without malice, kill Michael Joseph Jackson," to whom Murray, 56, allegedly improperly administered propofol. The coroner's denunciar reflects the thorough nature of the medical examiner's months-long probe.
Along with describing the scene at the Holmby Hills mansion where Jackson was stricken, the document lists prescription drugs found in the início (some were prescribed in Jackson's name as well as an alias used por the singer) and includes separate radiology, dental, neuropathology, and anesthesiology consultations.
According to a review por Dr. Selma Calmes, the level of propofol detected in a toxicology screen was "similar to those found during general anesthesia for major surgery." Jackson was reportedly using the drug to help him sleep. The document also provides the detailed results of the performer's autopsy--which included analysis of Jackson's corpse and his various organs--from the size of his liver to the "unremarkable" nature of his testes and scrotum.
The "immediate cause" of Jackson's death was listed por the medical examiner as "Acute propofol intoxication."
The denunciar also reveals how, six weeks after Jackson's death, coroner's officials traveled to Forest Lawn Memorial Park to take hair samples from Jackson's head "for potential toxicology testing." In the presence of Jackson's sister La Toya, "samples were collected por plucking with gloved hands." Jackson, who was viewed in a "secured lobby," was "supine in a yellow casket with blue lining. The majority of the decedent was covered with multiple white towels/sheets leaving only the hands and topo, início of the head exposed." (23 pages)

Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...
If you smile
With your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...
Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...
Smile, though your coração is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...
If you smile
Through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile...

So we had our school retreat today, & there was a band right? They started playing will you be there, & my friends were all nudging me going "it's MJ!" The thing is, I didn't know it was MJ when they first started playing. I had never heard will you be there before, yet all my friends knew it. Isn't that kinda sad? My friend Emily was like "Keri, it's MJ get up & sing!" but I was like "I don't know the words." I learned it pretty fast though; they only played the first 2 lines over & over instead of the whole song, so I didn't feel like a total idiot!! So it was kinda embarrassing for me because my friends all know me as the big MJ fanatic, yet I didn't recognize the song. But it really made my day!
"Moonwalker" -- a collection of short films made por MJ in 1988 -- was never released theatrically in the United States ... but one L.A. movie theater is finally trying to make it happen ... for one night only.
TMZ has learned Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood is on the hunt for a film print of the 1988 cult classic ... after MJ fãs flooded the A.C. facebook page with the challenging request.
According to reports, "Moonwalker" was never theatrically released in America because of failed negotiations with U.S. movie distributors back in the dia ... however the flick was eventually released in The States on VHS.
FYI -- "Moonwalker" featured a super-iconic 25-minute featurette for "Smooth Criminal" ... which included an awesome cameo por Joe Pesci.
Arclight claims they're actively searching for the print -- we'll let you know if the procurar succeeds.

The good people of Canada never had a chance to view the Michael Jackson documentary, "Gone Too Soon" -- and now the owners of the flick are declaring war on the distributor ... claiming he personally screwed the entire country.
TMZ obtained a lawsuit filed por Objective Films, LLC -- in which they claim they agreed to sell the French and Canadian distribution rights to a company headed por a guy named Pierre Turgeon for $100k back in 2009.
Objective says they got the first $50k -- but Turgeon flaked on the back half ... and then tried to back out of the deal altogether. Objective was able to get the flick distributed in France ... Canada wasn't so lucky.

t appears Katherine Jackson is going to do what Oksana Grigorieva couldn't ... appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
Production trucks have arrived at the Jackson family compound in Encino along with two black SUVs. Members of the production crew told TMZ they are there for "an Oprah shoot."
A security guard told TMZ Oprah will not be showing up ... so this could be filming for an introductory segment of the show.
No word on what the interview might be about ... but we're guessing the words Michael and Jackson will be used often.
UPDATE 5:10 PM PT -- No one has left yet, but there has been a visitor ... the Domino's pizza delivery guy!
UPDATE 6:23 PM PT -- The production trucks are getting a parking ticket. Put it on Oprah's tab.
UPDATE 6:39 PM PT -- The two SUVs have taken off and the production crew has begun to load equipment. Looks like it's a wrap.

Michael's name has the exact letters to describe him. He had the sweetest voice for such a young child and the smoothest dance moves. We would have talent shows at our school or community recreation center, and there would always be a number of us who wanted to portray Michael and the Jackson five.
As he and we grew older we still enjoyed his sounds and performances. No one makes all perfect decisions in their lives. As with many a great artist he had some ups and downs. But through it all, his musical talents have been phenomenal genius.
