Why do so many fãs don't like Load and ReLoad?

I amor these Albums!! There are awesome songs on i!

I've heard so many times that they're their worst albums :/

I think this is because these albums are very different from their anterior ones. The albums before Load and ReLoad, for example The Black Album, were a lot heavier and in a different kinda style. I think that some fãs just didn't like the change of Metallica's style. In my opinion they are good albums, they're just different :)

These albums began the phase of metallica becoming mainstream; thus generating a lot of haters as well (it seems everything mainstream has to have at least as many haters as followers). In addition, I must say that these songs were not up to par with their old albums.
Load has several good songs on it; Outlaw Torn and Bleeding Me are two of my favoritos por them.
ReLoad has Fuel and Unforgiven 2, the rest sucked.
St. Anger was terrible.

Load and Reload are mais mellow than the rest of their music. Some of Metallica's followers are into really heavy and fast music, and dislike their slower songs.
