In the series 2 &1/2 men, one of the most vibrant and colorful characters is Rose, who is played por Melanie Lynskey.
Basing a spinoff from 2 1/2 Men seems to be a wonderful idea for Melanie Lynskey. She has certainly paid her dues in the industry.

Since we know that Rose, her Father, Brother and Sister own controlling interest in a bank, each of these are possible supporting characters, with a plethora of possible plot lines.
Persons from a 37 ano old divorced and depressed pizza delivery boy to a much divorced Pediatrician, or any number of romantically damaged ladies of various levels of low esteem can all play a roll in the show, while providing a Spinoff type life line to the original show.
