Right now I'm with this guy that I know I should break up with, it was a bad relationship from the start...I just can't do it, I love him too much and I'm just too weak. And it doesn't seem like he's going to break up with me...which means I will have to be the strong one and do it, and I just don't want to! So we haven't broken up...

I have been where you are, jillywinkles. I have broken up with a really nice and sweet guy. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. I cried for days after that. Everytime I would ask my friends how he was doing and they would say "not very well", it was really hard for me to heart that.

I have to agree. In my experience, I would rather get dumped like, 10 times in a month by someone I really love than have to break up with one person. It hurts so much.

thats a hard one. I'd rather have neither cuz either way it's gonna hurt you and the person you love(ed) in a way and I can't bare to feel pain especialy if it involves my love

i cant choose. breaking up with someone you can always blame yourself no matter what but someone breaking up with you can hurt 100x more.....depening if it was ur fault or not.

hurts less... if you are actually able to break up you know for certain the relationship is not good for you but if the other one breaks up with you everything might seem alright to you and then he leaves you for someone else...hurts much more... and if you are the one breaking up, you are the one who still has dignity
