But I do believe that Kate was pregnant after 316 and maybe Juleit was too whan she died,so both Juliet and Jack were given the chance to have the son they never could because they died.

This. And I like to believe David is an angel, a shepherd or something like that, to help Juliet and Jack move on. I can't accept that he isn't real. I love him too much for that

I agree. David Shepherd is too biblical of a name for it to not mean anything like this, so he had to have served some sort of spiritual purpose.

yea im with everyone else, david had to have been something cuz i LOVED him WAAAY too much for him to just not have exisited. yeaa i like the whole angel or significant figure idea, and how he was there to help them move on. he's the son they never had the chance to have, didnt they both want kids? lol ahh i just love david.
