To escape a mob hit, villain Woody Samms sneaks his soul into the body of Clark Kent with the aid of a mystical stone purchased from Asabi. In turn, Clark’s soul is transferred into Woody's body. Clark now dazed and rendered mortal is further subdued as Woody injects him with a sedative and stashes him in the bushes.
