She walked into the room, bolinho, queque in hand, unaware it was packed full of vampiros ready to devour her.
The bolinho, queque fell to the floor. Blood everywhere. Thirsty vampiros leaned over the girl who now lay unconscious on the floor. "Weakling," growled the leader. "But she will do."
A half hora later, the room was empty of all but three tiny bolinho, queque crumbs and a drop of blood on the floor. No evidence whatsoever they had been there. Or was there?
Halfway across the world, in a darkened cemetery, thirty vampiros crawled, the leader carrying the girl over his shoulders. She stirred awake. Blinking, she saw twenty-nine vampire eyes staring back at her.
Leader growled. "After all that blood loss, you'd think she'd be dead."
"Why am I so thirsty?" she moaned, and he grinned. "You have become one of us, my dear. Your reborn name is Carrie, for I have carried you to the other side."
Carrie moaned again. "BLOOD!" she screamed, her eyes wide open. She threw herself at a nearby black cat and quickly drained it. "The sweet taste of blood!"
The leader smiled. "She has awakened."
