What's your opinion on Rick Mercer's rant?

If you haven't seen it, I've provided the video.

I totally agree with everything he just said. If mais public figures came out publicly, I think it would really help fight homophobia and provide mais role models. 300 if definitely too many.

I agree. Schools should be doing mais to fight homophobia. I think the lack of role modelos in my life is what has kept me uncomfortable about my sexuality. Being constantly told that I'm evil doesn't help, either. Straight kids get so much support from society, so why shouldn't the gay kids?
