I find comfort in knowing that people who I’ve cut out of my life are left with this version of me that simply doesn’t exist anymore. The memory and image of me that they have isnt who I am, and I’m happy that it’s that way. I’ve changed and grown and they wont ever get the chance to know the better version of myself that I’ve become during their absence.

I know theres a million posts about this, but I’m really tired of cringe culture. it comes from such a dumb place of, like.. elementary school bullying, and it’s so insane to me that actual human adults still think it’s an acceptable thing to do, especially to children??? I just¿¿¿ like, look man, I dont know why the spidered boy thwip thwip noise and the WHOOSH spn title card makes my brain produce serotonin but can u pls stop policing the way happy chemicals work lmao

what irks me most about the whole “we can’t do what the audience expects!” attitude that has developed for big franchise stories is that, honestly, 95% of the audience isn’t thinking about it that hard. It says that creators are looking at the 5% of their audience who care the most, who are really invested in their work, often the people who care about stories and narratives in general…and perceiving that not as care, as a positive offering, but as the opening of intellectual combat.

can yall just like. be nice to each other. i PROMISE being vile and horrible isn’t worth it in the long run. like i promise being mean will not make you happier. being intentionally mean-spirited doesn’t make you cool and likeable.
